How do we play the finale against the Eagles?

Considering the Eagles are the likely first round playoff opponent, win or lose, how do we approach the game next week?

Do we go all out to win or hold something back for the playoff game? Also, how will the Eagles approach it since the scenario is virtually the same for them?

You go out and try to win the game whatever needs to be done. I have no doubt that is the way Philly will approach the game as well. Philly and Dallas know each other too well to think that you can hold something back that the other team does not know about.

I see what you mean--it's most important to win the playoff game so you might save a special blitz or formation--I think you have to play it as it comes: if get up or down by a bunch then you coast and maybe rest soem guys but if it's close, then go for the win

Balls to the Wall. home field will be a big advantage. Its probably 32 below in Philly.

Odd question.

When you have an opportunity to earn at least 1 game at home, you have to take that opportunity.

Heck, if things workout in the Playoffs, you could end up playing two games at home.

I just don't see the Cowboys being able to win 3 Straight games on the road during the Playoffs.

But I could see them winning 1 game at home and then winning another one on the road.

Good, and, if it comes to that, I hope it snows a foot. Those conditions would clearly favor Dallas, not a team like Philly that depends on quick strike passes.

You have to play for the 2 seed. The Saints have proven they can be beaten at home and it's entirely possible they lose their first PO game at home. If that is the case the 2 seed gains the home field advantage and the NFCCG goes through Dallas with the 2 seed.

You prepare for and play the game as if you have no idea who will be or would be your 1st rd opponent.

I don't think you do a single thing different.

The real question is how do you prepare for the rematch? But that's a question/problem to be dealt with next Sunday Night.

you go out and put it out there and win the game. That's what you do. Don't worry about the week after that and all that BS. You win the game. Period.
