The Eagles O and the Giants O is so much more in synch then ours. Players are just left wide open. The plays called are perfect.
the eagles o has been together for the most part, several years. the giants o is in their 2nd year together, besides Burress. Drew is in his first year with the team, and I think he's all outperformed our expectations. if he had been with the cowboys the past few years, our o would be much more in synch also.MarionBarberThe4th said:The Eagles O and the Giants O is so much more in synch then ours. but then again, Lamont Jordan is nothing special and he ran all over us. So it depends what defense shows up.

Start a fight with him during pregame warmups. That's how.

ya but do you realize how bad Glenn would get shook out of his old shoes. hes gonna break an ankle guarding westbrook. we should shadow him with dat. but i agree about us playing nickel the whole game, or at least a large portion. 2-4-5 would be best imo to have linebackers there to stop westbrooks outside runs and dumpoffs. not like they have anyone who is athreat to run up the middle.JakeCamp12 said:If it were me, Aaron Glenn would spend the entire game shadowing Westbrook all over the field. I would stay in nickel and move Roy up into the box and let or DB's play man-to-man. WHat can it hurt? We have not beaten them in so long, it couldn't hurt...

true they did run very well teh first half, but i think that was mostly due to the lloyd td and their passing game doing so well that first half.dbair1967 said:The Niners ran all over us too...its a serious problem when you cant stop the run a lick against two teams that couldnt run the ball a lick coming into our game
our defense still stinks against the run and the pass...better players...new scheme...same coordinator....dont see why some cant see the forest for the trees here

Containing Westbrook is no easy accomplishment. However, it can be done. Depending on the "look" the Cowboys give us, we'll execute accordingly. What I'm saying is if the defensive "look" is pass defense, Lamar Gordon or Westbrook will lineup in a RB configuration -- but don't forget, Lamar also receives well.
Pass Defense
As such, this opens up the field for Lewis and T.O. to get involved down field. I don't think Bill Parcels will commit to man-to-man, that would be a mistake, but even i a zone configuration the Eagles would kill you underneath.
Blitz Packages
You may have some success trying to blitz McNabb; however, screen passes could be damaging, especially if Westbrook gets his hands on the ball and a few key blocks from Gordon.
I don't know what your offense has, but you can count on some turnovers from Kearse, Brown, Sheppard and possibly Trotter.
We will be watching out for Roy (the demon) Williams -- that's a bad man!
Good hunting; or not.
