First thing is to get pressure but our DEs just can't get there,we just have to outscore them and we probably need 40 points.

Carr on Cooks? I don't think that is a good idea. No way Carr can run with Cooks. Although, putting Claiborne on Cooks would be a disaster. I would put Scandrick on Cooks and tell Scandrick to get physical with him on the line of scrimmage.

I really don't like the way our secondary matches up with the Saints. I think our best hope lies in running the ball and dominating the time of possession. The offense is going to have to win the game for us.

Well said - Brandin Cooks could be NFL Offensive Rookie of the year - the kid can play and if you don't know who he is you better learn.

Do whatever Minnesota did. I know we're all supposed to be running scared as cowboy fans but let's be honest, this saints offense hasn't exactly been gang busters so far this year.

That MIN defense wasn't any better than ours last season, and they had issues in the secondary. They do have good S play, though. Overall, though, I agree. The Saints have looked off so far this season. I was glad to see them get a win, but not a blowout, this week. I did not want them coming in desperate to get healthy in Dallas, and I didn't want them riding in off of a blowout looking to start a string. A hard-fought win against a mediocre team playing without Peterson and with a rookie backup QB...that's about the best case scenario for us in terms of possible momentum from the Saints. Especially with us coming off a lackluster defensive game in STL and now being back at home for a bit.

Our best bet is to put pressure on the midget{maybe even a suplex or 2} and their offense will fold up like a cheap chair from walmart.

do you just double him and TRY to take him out of the game? He, IMO, is really their only threat! What's your defensive plan?

well, we have to run the ball and keep their offense off the field. then you double him up with a LB underneath and a safety over the top. you also bring a little more pressure (5) and force them to keep graham back at times to deal with pressure.

You don't.

Just hope he does not kill us bad.

We have nobody on this team, that go toe 2 toe with this dude. Our best coverage guy, and best defender overall Scandrick, might be a little to small for him.

Best bet is to bracket him, and hope you get lucky

I think that you keep Wilcox off the field this game. I would put Carr on Graham. Bring Moore in on the outside. Utilizes Scandrick in the slot and Claiborne on the outside.

Bree's is what 5'11?

That's a midget?

Actually he is more like 5'10 but whos counting. If remember correctly we applied pretty good pressure on him in 09 when we beat them. I honestly think our secondary is going to have its hands quite full Sun night.

You don't. You get Mo on the first play of the game to take one of the dirtiest shots ever seen knocking Graham out for the remainder of the game, and Claiborne is then ejected. A win-win situation, we take away their biggest threat, while also taking away our biggest weakness. Cowboys then proceed to win by 7.

It was a joke, in no way would I seriously want that to happen.

You man him up with Claiborne, provide safety help with Heath and assume he's been sufficiently erased.

I agree. Challenge Claiborne with the Graham assignment and see what he can do. I like the other matchups for Dallas. Scandrick can erase Cooks and Carr should be fine against Colston.
