Isn't Henry's contract coming off the books in two years? (after 2009)

I made mention of this a few weeks ago. While I believe that something will be worked out, I would not be surprised to see Newman or Henry moved before the draft. I mean, I'm not even trying to say that this is a rumor or that it should be considered but if a team came calling, I would not be surprised to see us do something.

I don't see Dallas moving either of them this year. However, I do see them letting Newman walk when his current contract is up. The way CBs are getting paid, it will just not make good business sense to pay him that much at his age.

Not saying I will like the move, but I will understand if that is the course they take.

Goose on 103 just said that if they let a guy go it will be Henry and not Newman. I have to agree.

I think Dallas would franchise Newman and keep him one more season even at ridiculous rate rather than pay him long term, huge money to play CB beyond 30 years of age.
