1. Will RG III be the starter. They could potentially pay him as much as 22 million for two years.

2. Does that put the #2 over-all on the trade block?

3. Does this give Dallas their choice of Goff or Wentz?

4. If Dallas was serious about Wentz, do they need to trade with Cleveland to protect their selection?

5. Could they still take a QB and use RG III as the starter until the drafted player is ready?

5. Did the Browns figure out a way to screw themselves again?

1. Yes.

2. Possibly.

3. Yes, likely but possibly not a choice still.

4. Maybe.

5. Yes, they could. I doubt it though.

6. No, I doubt it. I think they're on their way to a solid rebuilding plan.

Changed nothing. If we don't have a QB at the top of our board, I'm not entirely sure why we would now just because of the RGIII signing.

RG3's deal has no guaranteed money past this year.

I still suspect a qb is going 2nd. Whether it is Cleveland selecting who knows...

If they're dumb enough to pass on a QB at 2, they deserve everything bad that happens to them.

I'm not interested in selecting a player who will be gone after his first contract over the possibility of a franchise player that could very well still be on the team in 2027.

Thanks to all of you for answering.

Cleveland still selects QB at 2. That QB takes over next year as their starter or maybe sooner if things go ugly for Griffin.

If it goes great for rg3 they use the qb as trade bait the following year or in 2 years?

If there is one thing I am certain of with RGIII signing with Cleveland is that this makes the Cowboys #4 pick just that much more expensive.
If the Cowboys decide to trade down, they could fleece a team.

Cleveland....6.3 222 lb Tim Couch Pick 1999 #1 Overall, 6.3, 235 lb Brady Quinn 1st round 22nd pick 2007, 6.4 - 228lb Brandon Weeden 2012 1st round with the #22 Overall, Jonny Manziel 2014 1st round #22...Browns just signed the #2 Overall player in the 2012 Draft who has been more successful in the league than the other four BUSTS combined, RGknee.

Stop gap starter that could work into a long term starter, but who knows what they are thinking...lol...

2. Does that put the #2 over-all on the trade block?
Possibly, but depends on what player is there and what the trade is.

3. Does this give Dallas their choice of Goff or Wentz?
I think they always had a choice depending on who was there, it may not have mattered if they think highly of either one.

4. If Dallas was serious about Wentz, do they need to trade with Cleveland to protect their selection?
I doubt they would trade up, I hope not, being they can get either QB.

5. Could they still take a QB and use RG III as the starter until the drafted player is ready?
I think they very well could, RG3 stop gap for 1 to 2 years while Goff or Wentz sits and learns. Or even a 2nd round QB.

5. Did the Browns figure out a way to screw themselves again?
I don't see how they did, if they still pick a QB in the 1st round. As this way they do not need to start a rookie right away. Or even pick one in the 2nd round.

This. Why draft a QB when you just paid RGIII $22M? Draft Zeke (local kid). Him and RGIII will rejuvenate their fanba$e.

Then we have our choice of Wentz or Goff to draft as our future franchise QB. :D

1. Probably, but maybe not the full season depending on how far out of it they are come November or RGIIIs health.
2. Probably not. I think they really like Wentz
3. No. Goff maybe.
4. I don't believe Cleveland will trade. I think they want Wentz.
5. Yes.
6. No, this may be the first somewhat smart thing they have done in years. RGIII can take the beating behind a rebuilding team while Wentz adjusts to the NFL.
