How dumb are the giants?

is it still the 1970s? the first 10 picks are all filled and ready to go.

the days of trading are not as often as some of our fans think.
Has there ever been a draft where NONE of the top ten picks were traded?

probably a few, or very precise trades, probably only a few that benefited some teams.

Remember Ditkas trade as the Saint HC, that paid off big time.

Its not about a win making a team looking better, its about developing an attitude. I would never want to play for a coach or ownership who encourages purposely losing under any circumstances.

Herm Edwards said it best. You play to WIN the game.

Its up to the coaches to coach the players on their team to develop them into a winning mindset and culture. I don't care what round they are drafted.
But I am not a player, coach or GM. I don't work for the Cowboys. I don't ever plan on playing for them either, so what I'd want is for them to be better set up for the next shot next season. We are in better shape today then we were yesterday.

Two weeks ago they had the number 1 spot in the draft. 2 meaningless wins later they will be picking number as low as 6 possible.
IF they could have stayed at #1 and sold it to the most QB hungry team for more 1sts and 2nds they really would have set themselves up for a good near future.

BUT they've been picking high for a. decade now and they STILL absolutely suck so nothing is guaranteed I guess.

I still like that they ***** it up in my opinion though.

Ehh, if Giants get a good player at that spot, I would not call it a **** up though

I didn't insult anyone, weak minded people who think purposely losing at your profession as a good thing, makes them insult themselves. You can't spray perfume on dumb.

And im very happy bro. I had a great 2025.
Manalive, are you really that unaware? Sad, dude, just sad.

Then you hated Jimmy Johnson.

I don't recall anyone saying anything about 'automatic'. It's an improved chance at a difference maker. And given that the drop off tends to usually fall around 15-16 for first round grades, a jump from 18 to 12 does a nice job of improving our odds. I'll take that over a win that makes our team look better than they deserve any day. Throw in the bonus of the NYG dropping out of slot 2 and it's a good day for fans.
They haven't. Poor guy lost this one badly, so now he's just throwing crapp against the wall and throwing cheap little 3rd grade insults at anyone who disagrees w/ him.

why? are they going to draft big? is 1 draft pick solving their problems? Who does all this draft trading? Are bad teams suddenly doing the 80s montage and want to start winning so trading on draft day is going to happen?
The value of pick 2.

Watch what happens with pick 2.

I am stunned they did what they did all because they believe they have their starting quarterback.

The only reason a team would purposely try to drop from #1/#2 in the draft is to save money.

Even if they didn't want to draft a quarterback they could have traded out of the 1 or 2 position and got another first round pick.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm VERY glad they won! :D
Only a fanatic is disappointed with this game.

Why a loss, while playing our backups on offense in the 2nd half, was so important today.
1. There is no doubt Eberflus MUST be fired. His defense made mental and physical mistakes all day and his players, using his scheme were a step behind all day. Jerry was a little wishy washy on Eberflus before the game.
2. We might have 2 pretty good rookie RB’s. Blue looks quick and elusive. Mafah has some power.

3.I love Milton’s competitiveness, but he must see defenders right in front of his receivers. I might bring him to camp to compete for a backup position.

4. A couple of our DT’s may not be worth the big money( Ozi and Clark). I like Clark’s attitude and what he says, but he gets pushed around against the fun a little too much.
5. We have a bunch of dumb DB’s without NFL talent. Get rid of half of them.

6. Clowney would be a very strong piece, but after his really good game, he will be asking for a lot of money.

7. I’ve seen enough of Murray. What a
dumb penalty on the sideline.

8. MOST IMPORTANTLY: We will have the 11/12 pick in EVERY ROUND, instead of the 16/18 pick in EVERY ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!

The Indiana guy is the #1 pick right? Or is he the Raiders will choose. I think it is a really weak draft but QBs are not good this draft and the Indiana guy is not all that either.
How is Mendoza “not all that”?

Also this draft has more more talent, but less depth than last year.

Scouts haven’t even dug into how any of these qbs fit in the NFL.

Dart was a second round draft pick up until the final weeks of the process.

Then you hated Jimmy Johnson.

Actually, Jimmy Johnson is the perfect example of what im talking about. Some of our best players on that team weren't high draft picks and he coached a winning attitude to ALL of the players.

So no.... I loved Jimmy Johnson.

Manalive, are you really that unaware? Sad, dude, just sad.

Yes!! Its sad that you embrace purposely losing on purpose under any circumstance. Im glad we can agree on something.

Except for the Spurs, Thunder, and early 90s Cowboys.

Once again, this "guarantee" BS. No one has claimed it, why is being brought up as a counterpoint? Anyone who thinks drafting more toward the front of the draft is not better is the dumb one!!!!
Houston Astros have two trophies thanks mostly to tanking.

There’s a reason why both the Cowboys and Giants are as bad as they are!!!!!!! When you have clowns running an organization you appear to be more of a circus than an NFL team……….
