I agree egales romos thumb, panters TOs ankle, and gaints TO wasent 100%.
Seriously. And next year when the Cowboys are FULL STRENGTH at the end of a 16 game season, they will coast to the Superbowl. Of course, you can't rely on beating the AFC, but I think the Boys will be a TOUGH OUT.

Its not going to be easy.
I dont want it to be easy.

Last season is ZERO indicator that next season is gonna be easy.

I would take 10-6 in the playoffs whereas every regular season game victory was by no more than 3 pts.

I want a junkyard dog in the playoffs.... not that poodle/schitzu mix we put in this past season.

Our record will all depend on how healthy we remain. We can't lose TO, Witten, Barber or Romo nor suffer serious OL injuries. We also must find a #2 WR to play opposite TO to limit opportunity for opponents to take TO out of the game; you better believe every team will try & some will succeed if we aren't prepared. Our defense must improve particularly in pass coverage in the middle of the field; believe Zack Thomas is the player that can make that happen. Believe if Romo wins his first playoff game this season, the monkey will be off his back and we'll go all the way.

The Packers will still be VERY competitive. They won a lot of games with defense last year (yes I know we torched them), but they were very good. And Ryan Grant was the league's leading rusher over the last 8 games.

I hate posts like this because I know they are going to jinx us. The Giants aren't better than us, they were just playing well when it counted most. Bottomline: we can beat them.

My bigger concern is Tony Romo developing a playoff-failure complex. He has to come up big and get that elusive first playoff win next season or we could risk him being developing a complex. Of course, Wade Phillips will be gone, too.

Everyone thinks there is something wrong with Romo in the playoffs...against Seattle glen had that huge fumble by the goal line...I don't think our defense could have stopped them from getting a field goal to win it while time expired anyways...as far as the Giants this year if people would have caught the ball (Crayton, Fasano) we would have been playing Green Bay at home...lets not forget the Cowboys defense gave up 7 with less than what a minute before the half ended...poor execution and terrible defense is why we lose in the playoffs...end of story.

I dont. The guy has lost his only two playoff games by a total of 4pts.
One loss on a non-qb play and the other because of WR drops.

He was setup to be the hero in both games... it just didnt happen.

You have to think that with two home games, they could walk into the Superbowl without any real trouble, and then potentially face the Patriots who are also undefeated and OMG that would be AMAZING. With all the free agency losses the Pats have, I could TOTALLY SEE THE BOYS WINNING! Where is the Superbowl being played anyway? I need to book my HOTEL!

LOL, you're trying to be sarcastic and funny, but the REALITY is we only lost 3 games last year, ONE being the Patriots, ONE was when Romo injured his throwing thumb and couldn't throw a pass because of his injury against the Eagles, and the other was a MEANINGLESS game against the Skins where we sat some of our key players and the Skins had everything to play for.
So where exactly is the SB being played?
I think I need to book my room too! :)

REALLY?
The Packers WITHOUT Favre SCARE YOU??????
and you mean the GIANTS???
The team we MANHANDLED twice during the regular season, the team that wanted to fire their head coach in week 4 last year, the team that the fans in week 10 were talkin about how they need to cut Eli and draft a Q.B. and start over, THOSE GIANTS????????
Oh, but Crayton quit on a play and they beat us and win the SB, so now we're supposed to be SCARED of the team we beat the cr@p out of i nthe regular season and who are losing guys in F/A and Strahan might retire?
THOSE GIANTS?
But hey, to each his own, personally the packers don't scare me, and the Giants ESPECIALLY don't scare me regardless of their SB WIN!
IMO that was OUR SUPERBOWL that Crayton lost for us!

So your saying the BETTER NFC team with be the Packers who we beat last year and lost Favre, and the Giants who we kicked their *** 2 out of 3 and should of won all 3 last year?
Those are the 2 teams you are predicting will be better than us and scares you?

Clearly you missed or ignored my first post about the Packers

And the team we "MANHANDLED TWICE" beat us in the playoffs. Hence, no season is easy, that was my point more than anything.
