How ecstatic would you be if the Cowboys won the Super Bowl?

I would be pretty damn excited, that's for sure. Last time I got to experience that feeling I was 16 years old. I would enjoy every second of it as well, because who knows if it would take another 27 years to get there, which at that point I would be 70 years old!!

Really excited. But I kept saying if we make the SB we will win. But I can see it being Moores first SB so he will totally want to fool them and go pass happy. Elliot and Pollard will both be gaining 8 yards per carry but they will only get 5 carries each in the first half and 1 in the second half. Will be left to Dak winning it all with his arm and we get epically screwed by a bad call or non call.

Time running out and down by 4. Ball at opponents 17 yard line with no time outs and 5 seconds left. Dak drops back…. And runs a draw play to Elliot and he is stopped at the goal line but the team gets behind him and pushes him over for the TD is what I want to happen.

But knowing our luck it would be a pass in the endzone to Lamb with the worst case of PI ever and it’s a no call. Grrrr. Let’s go with the draw play.

Or Lamb get PI but comes down with a one hander in the corner and gets both feet in. Called a TD but heel could be out but not enough evidence to over turn. The crowd goes wild and I about have a heart attack..

The next day I hit the biggest lotto ever and buy the team. I take turns letting you guys come for free to a home game and stay in the sky boxes. Free steak and lobster tail buffet for all. Just big heaping piles of shelled lobster tail with a bucket of garlic butter dip. And a chef cooking filets and tomahawk steaks. Unless your a vegetarian. Then you can graze at the salad bar. Oh and a open booze bar..

Happy but sad. Happy that we won but sad because the Jones would believe they were the only reason why and their ego would become even bigger, so it would probably be 40 years before sniffing another one

Huh?
Who cares wha the Jones’ think or how they act…dang man,….

Yeah, can't really let Jerry live in your head rent free.

I just look at Jerry as the awful drunken uncle that ruins family gatherings every once in a while. Not much you can do about him, more often a problem than he is a asset, but he is occasionally fun to have around if you get sauced with him.

Also kinda fun to see how crazy he drives the rest of the less laid back family.

My first reaction would probably be shock, then excited. You could see the Cowboys first 5 championships coming. They were repeatedly knocking on the door in the early 70s before finally breaking through. Every year they had a great team that had a real shot. You could see the championships coming in the early 90s. The team was getting better every year. If they win the Super Bowl this season there’s no way anyone saw it coming. Most everyone thought they were going to have a rough year after the disappointing playoff loss last season to San Francisco, coupled with a bad offseason that saw several good players move on. This season started off worse than expected with Dak being injured along with losing the opener at home by 16 points. I’m very surprised we currently have an 8-3 record. I certainly wouldn’t have predicted it.
