The main difference between us and the other teams is the OL. If we had a decent OL we'd be in the playoffs and we would be a dangerous team.

Well, we're a halfway decent K from being better than both of them.

All I can say about Washington is that they better do it now cause their bad drafting and lack of picks will catch up with them and the fact that Gibbs won't be there long- that said, don't be surprised to see them in the NFC Championship game at the very least- I think they will absolutely walk the dog on Tampa.

I think NYG are in way better shape than WAS for the future.

Don't sleep on Philly next year- they WILL be back.

I'm afraid that if we don't get a change of philosphy as regards to offense and an infusion of talent on offense that we will be sucking hind teat in the division next year and for several years to come-we'll continue to lose 13-10 a lot.

i haven't warmed to the idea of getting TO but I think I'm starting to accept it as an increasingly possible move...

We have the talented players to match up with Commanders and Giants, and Eagles.

We need better coaches with more aggressive playcalling and new game plans.

Every opponant we face knew exactly what we were going to call. Our offense is predictable.

We need an new DC and OC.

Gibbs brings another element to Washington that's been absent. He's able, like he did in the 80's when BP was in NY, to make his NFC division matches into monster games. The Skins are more likely to split their division games and not lose both to the division rivals. Good players, draft picks, etc. are only part of the winning element. The ability to inspire a team against a hated rival is something the Skins have not been able to do in 15 years. This season, to the shock of NY, Phili and Dallas, the Skins are able to win and sometimes sweep their division rivals. Expect more of the same next season.

Now, does that include the blowout against the Giants, or are we just ignoring that?

The Giants O-Line I've seen this season looked pretty good to me even when they had to shuffle players.

Before we praise the Foreskins too much let's remember that they are 25 million over the cap AGAIN for next year. They will be one and done this year and be slicing and dicing March 1st to get under. I would not trade our position for theirs anyday.

WE went and got KJ after everyone cried and moaned about how much of a cancer he would be to our team. He comes to Dallas and haven't heard one thing from him. And that can all be because he plays for a coach that he respects, and who respects him back.
Yes, this is my point really. Dallas is a great situation for him. He'd have a coach who can handle him, a GM who is savvy enough to sign him to a contract that gives us some insurance, Calvin Hill is here, etc. It's also a veteran team with guys who would put him back in line if he causes problems.

For TO, being on the national stage and playing the Eagles' twice a year is probably just icing on the cake. He's not as much of a "cancer" as many of you think, he was actually well liked by most of his teammates and the Eagles' organization are elitists who treat their players very poorly.

The part of signing him that I haven't warmed to, frankly, is how he disrespected the team and his antics and taunting. I don't like that style of football. But from a talent standpoint and a success standpoint, it's almost a no-brainer.
