How good is the NFC East?

The NFC East is stacked. Each of the teams have promise. There isn't a clearly bad team in the bunch.

Here's what I think:

Any one of the four NFC East teams would win the NFC North if they were in that division.

Any one of the four NFC East teams would finish no worse than second in the NFC West.

The NFC South is tougher than the North and West, but I think there is a good chance that any one of the four NFC East teams would finish no worse than second in the NFC South.

What do you think?

I would say the winner in the NFC east would be the winner in any other Divsion, and if any NFC east team was to be in the NFC west or north, they would have most likley a 6-0, or a 5-1 record against the Divsion

I disagree. I think there are only two teams in that division that are NFC East caliber. Carolina is probably the most loaded of the bunch...and the Bucs fight like hell and with their defense will be in most every game they play.

I think Atlanta has talent close to Tampa Bay's but not the heart of the other two teams. Who knows, Vick may surprise but right now I don't consider them a threat.

New Orleans could be a sleeper with Drew Brees and Reggie Bush on board, but they have alot to improve in order to make a playoff run.

Luck? Our 11 victories (including playoffs) came against 7 teams with above .500 records when we faced them and we took down 5 of the 6 playoff teams (including the conference champion) at one point during the season/postseason. I'd say that's a bit more then luck.

Luck? Our 11 victories (including playoffs) came against 7 teams with above .500 records when we faced them and we took down 5 of the 6 playoff teams (including the conference champion) at one point during the season/postseason. I'd say that's a bit more then luck.

Washington managed to beat several teams which played some of their worst games of the season at just the right time. So, I'l have to admit that some good fortune (not luck) fell the Commanders' way.
