for me, it is a lot.
on some level, it has become hard to watch.
like the special teams last game not adjusting to the weather after any idiot watching the game knows better.
like garrett kicking the field goal instead of going for the touchdown with little time left and losing by 7.
i can almost count on some strategic mistake that tries hard to turn victory into defeat.
and there would likely be some moment in the game where i would be in disbelief as i watch the action unfold - thinking 'they could not be seriously doing that'

Absolutely none. This forums constant cry for a new coach bothers me far more.

I've been a fan of this team through all of the coaches - Landry to Garrett. Here is the list of coaches post Jimmy Johnson:

Barry Switzer* 4 1994 1997 64 40 24 0 .625 7 5 2

Chan Gailey 2 1998 1999 32 18 14 0 .563 2 0 2

Dave Campo* 3 2000 2002 48 15 33 0 .313

Bill Parcells† 4 2003 2006 64 34 30 0 .531 2 0 2

Wade Phillips 4 2007 2010 56 34 22 0 .607 3 1

Jason Garrett* 9 2010 present 136 77 59 0 .566 5 2 3

With this track record, help me understand why you believe that the next hire will be materially better that the 5 coaches that preceded Garret. I'm of the opinion that none of the candidates floated will be as capable a leader as he is.

That is why it took me so long to hang it up on Garrett. There are alot of positive things about Garrett imo, and his decision making in games is not what irks me like others. Taking the field goal was the smart decision imo for example.

Why I'm finally out on him is he simply does not seem to understand or comprehend attention to detail. You would think with all the stories from players past and present about Belichick and his level of attention to details that naturally he would at some point. He STILL does not even after that game.

How do I know? Listen to what he says about Dak and the gloves (after the game)... You can't expect a young quarterback to know those things. That falls on you as the head coach and your experience. He doesn't even see the issue.

Remember when Murry was dangling the ball out all season long. Myself and a few other posters kept pointing this out and specifically stated that would end up costing us in the playoffs. What happened in that GB game? What did the GB defense say they were keying on and why?

Attention to details. To Garrett this was just bad luck.. Good possibility it never comes down to the Dez catch and refs..

End point being. Maybe it is not better with another coach, but it's not going to get better with Garrett if he does not even see the issue.
