How important is Turpin to this team?
I have to ask this question because I don't believe most are realizing that Turp will be carving out more time in offensive sets.
He has already proven how dangerous he can be in just a bit of space.

He is the 4th or 5th receiving option when he is on offense. That isn't likely to change as the season progresses. He just needs to play that role well and be a consistent return man.

If a single man forces the team to play differently, even ST...then fairly important.

They don;t always have to be home runs. Good security, and just a couple good returns for field positon can very much affect the game.

I view Turp as a speed/big play element. Offensively, moving Turp around and making defenses account for him by putting him at HB, Slot WR and using him in jet sweep motion. Lastly I like Cooks n Turp on the same side stressing a defense with speed.

Uh...he's arguably the most dangerous return threat in the NFL right now....esp with the ko rules changes he is a very critical part to our special teams phase

He had an ugly over the middle drop in the Cleveland game. I thought he was past that but it was over the middle and he's only 155 pounds so I guess he's entitled to hearing footsteps. Can't have that in a critical situation though.
