Turp has the talent to evolve some roles like a jet sweep that have been totally absent in the past.
He has too much edge speed to be denied.

I have to ask this question because I don't believe most are realizing that Turp will be carving out more time in offensive sets.
He has already proven how dangerous he can be in just a bit of space.

he is good in returns as he has shown. but he has to learn to catch balls that hit him in the hands. he dropped a sure pass against cleveland. not many opportunities come your way and he has to cash in. he is better suited to play from the slot.

You are absolutely right, but he gets another chance soon.

Drops were an issue going back to last season, if those continue he won’t get many more opportunities. As a returner I’d be shocked if a team gives him another chance all year. I’d expect 90% touchbacks on kickoffs and probably a lot of high hanging punts. This still has value in hidden yardage, but I think you won’t see a ton of highlights plays from him if it’s not as a receiver.

Is there even any question about this? Special teams & defense are going to have to over-perform this year to compensate for a weak running game. Turpin is a threat to take it to the house on any given play. Give him his touches, and let that play out.
