How is everyone feeling about Bland?

He played all game (in nickel).

Yes, 80% of the snaps which is about what Jourdan Lewis averaged in the first 3 games.

I saw in preseason how he out played both last year's 2 corners in Wright(3rd rd)and Joseph (2nd rd).

Glad to see the coaching staff let the UDFA rookie get the snaps that he earned over the higher draft selected 2nd year guys.

Not sure how they slipped that one past Coach Jerry but I'm glad they did.

That was when he played as the Nickel CB.
- He struggled when he played outside CB in the preseason.
- Joseph and Wright are both outside CBs.
- The backup option at Nickel CB in 2021 was to move A. Brown to cover the slot WR with Joseph playing outside.

Joseph gave up minus 2 yards passing in his 1st NFL start which occurred during the 2021 season.
- It's hard to get better than that...

Good to see him getting a lot of snaps. I didn't know the Cowboys had him ahead of Joseph and Wright. Thought he had a good game and glad to see him get a pick, the kid can play!

Last year Brown is under contract I believe… gives them the option to transition him or Joseph (whoever wins camp battle) into that other starting position without having to drop a premium draft pick on the position!

Wait and see, where his consistency is. He made a nice play but he is inexperienced be interesting how he does if he is projected to be in the nickel and dime packages in the coming weeks.

I haven't any updates on Lewis, but groins tend to linger for CB's

Bland is my favorite afttTyler Smith in the rookie class. The mocks have us taking a CB next year i dont see it

Off to a good start, the hope is he replaces Lewis at some point.
