He ALWAYS starts out the season slow. Let’s see how he does against the Eagles, he usually eats vs. the division and teams are going to start playing back (like the Charges did today) anticipating Dak throwing for 500 yards. If you re-watch the Buccaneers game, they had 7, 8, 9 in the box just about every play. Pollard will push him to be better as well

even though he’s the lightest in years and he’s never been hurt? He’s clearly in fantastic shape and worked hard in the offseason.

Zeke was never explosive. In 2016 the holes were so big that he looked better than he was. Zeke is a good back but he isnt what he used to be and neither is the line. Moore is doing the obvious thing. Thank heavens Garrett is gone.

Zeke isn't the young, productive RB that he was as a rookie but he's still a powerful RB that gets better than average yardage in the middle. I wouldn't be too surprised if the Cowboys draft a RB at some point in the next draft, though. Their highest priority is likely to be at the RT spot, since La'el Collins has been experiencing a variety of injuries, of late. Of course, the defensive secondary needs at CB will demand attention, also.

I think a big part of what makes the top backs great at the moment is their strength to weight ratio built in the gym. Guys like Henry, McCaffrey and even Eckeler are monsters in the weight room, built different even compared to other hard working NFL players.

I don’t think Zeke is loafing but you can’t dial in the diet and intensify the training regime for one offseason and expect to catch guys that have been pushing every day for a decade.

I’m quite tired of the Zeke slander.

Zeke is still an elite RB — let him get hot. Guarantee if he stays healthy he will be cooking late in the season.

He’s coming off a disastrous season with no preseason reps. Let everything come to form.

Zeke missed some holes because he would lower his head and push the pile. On a couple runs Zeke had lanes if he would of made a cut back.

Other than Henry and Pollard and Cook yesterday, did any other RBs really have success in the run game? Balt ran all over the Chiefs but the Chiefs defense is garbage and QB Jackson had almost half the yards.

The running game just doesn’t seem to be there for most teams this year. It is a passing league.

He certainly appears to miss some cut back lanes yesterday and it seems he wants to bounce it outside more then he used to and when he's not going north south he's got problems. We will need both him and Pollard, but Pollard right now seems to be much quicker in making cuts and exploding through whatever is there.
