It really depends on how Robinson and Diggs do in training camp but my guess is that they aren't quite ready to be more than role players. If they can be full time starters then that gets us in a position where we might shift Chido inside to a slot or nickel position. But that's a bit too optimistic IMO. I think we might do something like the following:
Opposition: Philadelphia Eagles
Scenario 1: Standard lineup
Slot: Jourdan Lewis (Raegor)
LCB: Chidobe Awuzie (Jackson)
RCB: Daryl Worley (Jefferey)
S: Haha Clinton Dix (Ertz)
S: Xavier Woods (high safety)
Worley on the outside is a good option in the RedZone or against bigger slow guys. But I'm not putting him out there against anyone Amari Cooper speed or faster. We could see Robinson or Diggs play that role, or if they don't show enough in training camp it could go to Brown. I think there's a fair chance that Chido is the no.1 boundary corner with the no.2 changing depending on opponent.
Scenario 2: Standard lineup (RedZone)
Slot: Awuzie (Raegor)
LCB: Trevon Diggs (Jefferson)
RCB: Jourdan Lewis (Jackson)
NB: Daryl Worley (Ertz)
S: Xavier Woods (High safety)
In this scenario the field is compressed and I like Lewis on the outside over Awuzie. Awuzie has the speed to run with Raegor east-west and I think Awuzie is a player that actually does better when he is facing the QB. Worley matches up well as a big nickel against TE's.
Scenario 2: 12 Personnel (passing downs)
NB: Daryl Worley (Ertz)
LCB: Chidobe Awuzie (Jackson)
RCB: Trevon Diggs (Jefferey)
S: Haha Clinton Dix (Goedert)
S: Xavier Woods (high safety)
A bit of extra size on the field to combat TE's and play the run. We could also see base defense or three safeties with Wilson/Thompson coming in as a SS and Clinton Dix the NB.
Scenario 3: Speed package
SCB: Jourdan Lewis (Raegor)
LCB: Chidobe Awuzie (Jackson)
RCB: Anthony Brown (Goodwin)
S: Haha Clinton Dix (Ertz)
S: Xavier Woods (high safety)
This is where Brown is handy (assuming Diggs/Robinson aren't ready). It's less able to play press man, but I feel like nobody is going to get burned by the speed that the Eagles can put out.
