Not to mention I think I heard Cassel has 'some' familiarity with the playbook we run right? I am itching to get Weeden out of the starting position asap...

Cassel's a vet and Moore's familiar with Linehan's scheme already so I'll assume not very long in our situation. Moore probably knows it inside out already. Cassel may still take a week or two.

According to some fans around here it takes a RB about a year.....Since a QB has to learn everyones assignments it should take about 3 years....

This is my thinking as well. I should clarify the couple of weeks for Cassel. I'm not saying that's all it'll take for him to learn the playbook inside out, but learn it enough to see the field.

Coaches know best compared to fans? yes. Do I disagree with them in not calling for some deeper shot down field? yes but overall if you asked me who knows more about a team a coach or a fan I'll go with coach 100 out of 100 times. They base things of real information, not emotion or some personal grudge

Those dumpoffs to RBs are complex reads and throws. Cassel will be ready after an offseason of work.
