If your talking about today, then I pretty much gurantee it won't happen, unless someone makes just a totally stupid offer.

If your talking about this off season, it probably won't happen, unless someone makes a pretty good offer.

The question is, trade to who and for what? Two passes in the NFL hardly make him a hot commodity.

Or maybe they do!

Bill Parcells was showcasing Tony Romo for this trade. That's why we ran that play action to TO - that's why Bill smirked as they came off the field, and that's why we called up Skylar Green!

It's all so perfect.....:D

I'll be real furious and angry if they do that. Tony Romo is a sleeper, he has immediate talent, and the sad thing is the coaching staff that decide on Quarterback doesn't even know and that includes (Bill Parcells and Todd Haley).

Im expecting anything because a whole lot of people want to be trade off.

Chris Brown from the Titans (Good Powerback); But I rather Cowboys make a trade for LenDale White for a powerback. Im scared that the Cowboys might trade Tyson Thompson off, that would really scare me.

Randy Moss wants to be traded, so to be honest this is not one of the unexpected trades I expect to happen. Wishful thinking, I feel if the Cowboys could make a deal for him to co-exist with Terrell Owens, not now, maybe next season once he becomes a free agent, maybe we could talk about the Terrell Owens and Randy Moss show featuring starting Quaterback Tony Romo, and Marion Barber/Julius Jones/Tyson Thompson.

Jerry Porter want to be traded, but what is the posssibility of that? He a good physical, possession type wide receiver, and he runs good precise routes. To be honest don't expect this either. Not now anyway.

and we have big Leonard Davis.

Leonard Davis
Cardinals
Cards dangling Davis?
<Oct. 13> Perhaps the most interesting name being kicked around in the rumor mill as the trade deadline nears is that of Davis, writes ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli. Davis is in the final season of his original rookie contract, earning $9 million-plus this year, and the Cardinals apparently feel there is no way they can retain him. And, make no mistake, the Cardinals have not only fielded inquiries about Davis, but have made a few calls of their own to gauge potential suitors. Problem is, any team interested in acquiring Davis, who started mostly at right guard before he was switched to left tackle by coach Denny Green in 2004, will want him to sign an extension before completing a trade. And, to this point, the Cardinals haven't given his agents permission to talk to anyone. Second, Arizona really doesn't have an adequate replacement on its roster.

^It was an article saying Dallas Cowboys were interested into acquiring Leonard Davis from the Arizona Cardinals, but what do you think that the Cowboys are willing to give up?

My guess is a 3rd Round at best and a 5th Round at worst. We could put him at left guard on the side of Flozzell Adams and take Kyle Kosier out. Kyle Kosier haven't been too bad but he ain't spectacular nor the person that is doing better than Larry Allen.

Wishful think I think the Cowboys should get Larry Allen and Leonard Davis and get rid of Kosier/Rivera. :laugh1:

But Fonoti is still out there too. We need to beef up our line.

I doubt it will be Romo. Even though I said in TC that Romo may be will be showcased to set up a future trade. So, Unless it is a 1st rounder, I doubt it, because who would we get for a back up.

I don't think it will be any type of block buster or even a big name trade. Maybe one of our depth guys for a future player with potential.

Just to throw it off.....Ware vs. Merriman...a straight up trade? No, I wouldn't do it, but just to mix it up :D

That's the key, right there.

Unless we do a direct quarterback-for-quarterback swap. lol

If they really believe he has the ability to be a solid starter then he is worth more then a 1st round pick to Dallas. Its too hard to find good QBs to let a solid prospect that you have groomed for 3 years get away. 1st round picks are still an unknown by now they have a decent idea what they have in Romo.

I pretty much agree. Somebody has got to start at QB next year. If not Romo (or Bledsoe), who?

It would depend on what we got in return. If Oakland offered it's 1st rounder and I had a shot at a top 5 pick, I wouldn't mind one little bit.

Agreed...if the offer was well worth it. I would trade trade away.

However it's not gonna happen and we would not get something that would be better to us anyways.

Hypothetically if Oakland gave us their #1 for Romo who would we get to backup Bledsoe?

If the answer is Vinny Testa-saurus I might seriously change my mind about doing it.
