How many cowboys fans will be nauseous if the Eagles somehow won the SB?

Not really. Their coach has Stones.
Those stones can come back and hit you. They almost did once in that game. He was lucky in the end his QB didn't fall and fumble when a field goal could have won the game with thirtysomething seconds left. Unless he had confidence his team couldn't stop Green Bay from scoring with 1/2 a minute left.

I still remember being sick for days back in 2018. I honestly thought that the Eagles would never win a SB during my lifetime and fraudulent Bill Belechick couldnt stop Nick Foles in the SB. Thats why I want the chiefs to lose because I think the only AFC team that can beat them is Buffalo. And I dont trust Jared GOOF to beat the eagles or sam darnold. Im getting nervous yall.
hating the eagles that much is not rational or logical.
Over the years the eagles have had different HC, and players, and they are all different.

I enjoyed the nick foles run and SB win. was rooting for Nick , more than the eagles.
I rooted for the seahawks a few years, NE , and others.

One thing you dont realize is the cowboys are not winning any more SB's for a long long time.

The cowboys I knew and liked are long gone and they are not coming back.
Jerry has ruined the cowboys, so I have no problem rooting for other teams.

I'm weird....I've always liked our division being the best.

If you don't win the SB, but someone else in ur division does, it makes YOU not winning it not seem so bad.

"No, we didn't win anything, but we had the best team in the NFL in our division, so it's kind of hard"

To me it's worse if you have an awful season, and everyone else in ur division sucks too. What's ur excuse then?

"Hey we had 6 easy games and we STILL sucked"

The problem is, no one cares about excuses. No one is like "yeah that's a tough break for Dallas." Its still always ends with we suck.

Maybe if the Eagles win the SB, this FO will stop doing stupid stuff and focus more on football. I do feel that we are going to be a down franchise due to Daks contract. Max contract QB teams better have a solid nucleus of players under contract and be able to pick up solid "contributing" draft picks from the 1st-4th rounds.

I know a few around here who are closet eagles fans (some in the process of coming out)...who would celebrate...

Be that as it may, I enjoyed watching them play in 8 Super Bowls, winning 5.

I beleive he Eagles total is 4 Super Bowls, winning one.

Eagles fans could claim the championships they won shortly after World War II, back when there were 9 teams and Harry S. Truman was the President,

However, that would still give them only 4 championships in 91 years of existence.

Then again, you wouldn't be able to watch those championship games unless you bought tickets to the game. The television hadn't been invented yet.
Still watching those Super Bowls in Black and White on VHS?

Philadelphia won the Super Bowl February 4, 2018. They may earn the opportunity to do so again February 9, 2025. Within that seven-year span, Jerry Jones (aka the FO) did stuff like:
  • essentially went lone wolf
  • negotiated a trade with San Francisco, while keeping his front office clueless
  • wasted a fourth-round pick on a quarterback (Trey Lance)
  • whom the 49ers had invested three first-round picks in drafting but were happy to unload
  • to secure a 'first round quality quarterback' as insurance for whatever would eventually happen with and (not 'or') without retaining Dak Prescott
Just my opinion but I think the odds of the front office not doing stupid stuff if-and-after the Eagles win in two months are slim to none.

Why would we worry about the Eagles? We have our own pathetic franchise to worry about.

By this logic, every team with past championships should "not count them"? What's the cutoff? I propose a nice round number, say, 2000. How many playoff victories or Super Bowls can the Cowboys claim since then?

The cutoff should be after the salary cap era started.

As long as Jerry & Co arent sick it wont matter if we are sick or not...cause nothing will change. A part of me wants them to win just to spite jerry, but the part of me that hates philly with everything in my being cant stand the thought of them scumbags winning anything else.

"Super Bowl era" or "After the merger" would be the best choice because the number of teams involved were basically similar, 26-32 teams. Also the format is basically the same each season.

Perhaps we can count every NFL championship as a proportional value.

Let me explain:

Let us say that a championship in a season where the NFL has 32 teams is worth a value of "1".

Then a championship in a season where the NFL has 16 total teams is worth ".5"

The difficulty level is based on the number of teams. Mathematically, the basic odds of winning a championship with 32 teams is twice as difficult as winning a championship with 16.

Anyway, we would then add up all the values to see which team's had teh best score.

However, there is another issue:

Some teams have been in the league two to three times longer than other teams. Would it not be fairer to use the same proportional math in terms of the length of their existences?

A team has 4.6 championships and has been in the league for 100 years, let's say. Another team has 3.1 championships and has been in the league for 50 years. The 2nd team would be ranked higher due to the higher concentration of championships.

And the Eagles?

Well, they are 90 years old with 2 championship seasons with 10 teams, 1 championship with 13 teams and 1 championship with 32 teams.

That would be a total of 2.03 championships and if we were to base this on a 100-year span would make it 2.26 "comparable" championships,

The Cowboys are 64 years old with 1 championship season with 26 teams, 3 with 28 teams and 1 with 30 teams.

This would be a total of 4.38 championships and, based on a 100-year span, would make it 6.84 comparable championships.
