Amazing you recall watching at age 5. I was like 7 or 8 before I recall watching .

I was probably watching earlier with my dad but don’t recall except that initially I watched on Black and White TV. And we had our first color TV about 1964 or 65.
Yep, I was 8 also. I still cried after the ice bowls though

Born 1970 so really started remembering games 76-77…specifically run to Denver Super Bowl with Golden Richard’s and Butch Johnson catches…and of course the duo that’s been my avatar since Day 1. Those were vivid. I’ve seen every playoff game since. Last one live was in LA vs Rams in Divisional game

I’m lucky enough to have seen all 66 Cowboys playoff games…all on TV. I was 8 years old when I saw my first, watching at home with my Dad in 1966.

Maybe because I’m an old man now, I enjoy all these Cowboys playoff games more than ever because you can never take for granted that past glory will repeat. It’s also why I enjoy the games but also don’t let them make my day miserable if they lose.
YouTube is quite the archive to have at our fingertips. Good for nostalgia kicks.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
My brother was a big Packers fan. Sat down to watch the Ice Bowl with him. I said, "Cowboys are my team because they had Bob Hayes and he was in the 'Guinness Book of World Records' as the fastest human being." I was a nerd and big into the Guinness Book at 6 years old, LOL.

Bob Hayes was my first favorite player, followed by Chuck Howley then Drew Pearson. Saw every post-season Cowboys game since the Ice Bowl.
Pete, Bullet Bob was first favorite Cowboys player as a kid too. I was lucky to see him play in person at least 3 times. He remains the fastest football player I’ve ever seen. It was like watching a race car against stock cars. He was in another stratosphere.

I've seen every Cowboy game on TV or in person since 1972 only missing a Buffalo game's first half on a plane delayed flight in the late 1990s.I saw the Longley pass to Drew live in 1974 and I saw him run past Safety Ken Stone before Longley let it go and shouted Drew's open! from the stands .I saw Roger's last game(the double two TD comeback against Washington) and Troy's half a hundred 52-17 in The Rose Bowl and Emmitt's 7 yd.run into history against Seattle ----all live and in person.I'm blessed to be a Cowboy Fan.

The first play I ever remember seeing was Steve Pelluer hitting Herschel Walker downfield on a long pass vs Washington in 1986.

Go to 1:30 for the play:

This goes back to 1965 when we lost our first post season appearance in the Playoff Bowl to the Colts.

Of course 1966 was our first NFL playoff season which ended in NFL Title game against Packers at Cotton Bowl.

I attended my first playoff game in 1973 at Texas Stadium against the Rams.

Anyway, I’m curious how many other old diehards on this site have seen all .

And feel free for those who weren’t born yet to tell us how long your streak is of not missing Cowboys playoff games.
I have seen every preseason, regular season, playoffs and Super Bowl game since 1976the Cowboys played that were televised in my area,...which is most of them. Since the advent of Sunday ticket I have seen every one .

Not in person as I live in Virginia, but I’ve watched them all. Most memorable for me were losses to GB and the Browns back in the day, the Minnesota Hail Mary, the Blunder Bowl with Mickey’s BS TD and Howley’s mvp, the Miami SB victory when the celebrations on the field were more memorable than the game, and every one since.
Looks like we're neighbors Chuck, Virginia Beach, Virginia here! And I love getting to Texas every now and then to see our boys, but I see a lot of them when they come to Landover Md.!

Wasn’t able to watch the NFCCG against Eagles in ’81. Was still a little guy. My aunt and uncle were babysitting me and made me go with them to the flea market. Moped the entire day. Still kinda bummed thinking about it. Haven’t missed a playoff game since.

Been a fan since 1970 and have never missed a playoff game. Now, if the NFL wants to make it a pay-per-view like showing it on Peacock, I'll miss it then.

My first memory of a Cowboys playoff game is the season before we started the 3 in 4 years run. Believe it was 1991? Chicago Bears was that game and we won. I was born in 1984 so still very young and figuring out the world and what football was. The next game, got destroyed by Detroit. Have seen every playoff game since then as I got older. Not going to miss a playoff game unless dire circumstances keep me from it.
