the catch is my first memory as a 5 year old of the playoffs and crying my eyes out. Haven't missed a playoff game since then.
I was 11 and I loved Everson Walls. Very bad day. Even worse than the 1980 loss to the Eagles.

This goes back to 1965 when we lost our first post season appearance in the Playoff Bowl to the Colts.

Of course 1966 was our first NFL playoff season which ended in NFL Title game against Packers at Cotton Bowl.

I attended my first playoff game in 1973 at Texas Stadium against the Rams.

Anyway, I’m curious how many other old diehards on this site have seen all .

And feel free for those who weren’t born yet to tell us how long your streak is of not missing Cowboys playoff games.
Since 1962, I haven't missed any. Sure hope Dallas stomps Green bay because of the ice bowl.

Amazing you recall watching at age 5. I was like 7 or 8 before I recall watching .

I was probably watching earlier with my dad but don’t recall except that initially I watched on Black and White TV. And we had our first color TV about 1964 or 65.
Super Bowl V was actually a week after my 6th birthday in January of 1971. I recall it because I hated Craig Morton from that day forward.

I don't hate him now of course. He's 80 years old and dealing with life. But I'm not lying when I say I loved his beatdown in Super Bowl XII.

I’ve had season tickets and have been to every home playoff game since ‘92. I haven’t missed watching on tv any away games beginning with the Runner-Up game against Baltimore in ‘65.

I can’t say I’ve seen every home game on tv since prior to ‘65 because of the blackout rule. There was a couple that I managed to see because my uncle had an antenna that would reach the Tyler stations and we went over there to watch.

My oldest memory of fandom is being crushed when they lost to Baltimore on a last sec FG.

I was nine. I'm sure I watched the playoffs before then, but I can't remember.

I've seen every Cowboys playoff game since the Cowboys beat the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. The game that broke my little heart was the one where Jackie Smith dropped the easiest pass from Roger Staubach in the endzone against the Steelers. One of the worst memories of my childhood.

Honestly since 1970. I think I’ve only missed one actual game. My daughter got married.

Right out of the military, I broke a 26 inch sears consul TV. Adrenaline testosterone. It’s nice to be young. That was the top-of-the-line back then Jackie Smith dropped the ball and I just wanted to freaking kill everybody. Lol.

I've seen every Cowboy game on TV or in person since 1972 only missing a Buffalo game's first half on a plane delayed flight in the late 1990s.I saw the Longley pass to Drew live in 1974 and I saw him run past Safety Ken Stone before Longley let it go and shouted Drew's open! from the stands .I saw Roger's last game(the double two TD comeback against Washington) and Troy's half a hundred 52-17 in The Rose Bowl and Emmitt's 7 yd.run into history against Seattle ----all live and in person.I'm blessed to be a Cowboy Fan.
Congrats. I am also a 72' alum, and haven't missed a game since then. Lots of Beta and VHS tapes to cover for the pre-streaming/Sunday Ticket/DAZN era. Some of the tapes would be missing minutes to quarters of the game as my wife taped the wrong channel or forgot to press record.

Before that I would be conveniently sick from school for Thanksgiving games, and not go to church on Sundays for early games. Still hate the late night games due to short sleeps for next work day.

Craig always got a bad rap IMO. If not for having Roger on the bench I have no doubt Morton would have eventually led us to a championship.

That’s a great streak.

Back before the new new Blackout rule in 1973 locals ( fans within 75 mile radius) had to take additional steps to view regular season home games which by league rules weren’t televised.

Fortunately we had family in the Waco area and watched many home games there if we didn’t attend.

In 1973 of course the NFL begun broadcasting home games if sold out within 72 hours of kickoff.

I have not missed a game, except preseason games, since 1973. My earliest childhood memory is watching a game with my dad.

My fandom goes back to my childhood in the 90s. I started watching religiously at the age of 11 and didn't miss a playoff game during the 1995 run -- despite living in Europe as my dad was stationed overseas. I caught that year's games live on Sky Sports, including the Super Bowl which ended at something like 3 a.m. on a school day.

In 1996 I had to get creative. The Minnesota playoff win wasn't televised live overseas off-base, but a family friend recorded it and mailed us the VHS a few days later. Still one of my favorite games to watch. The debacle loss to the Panthers I could only watch on a random German station we received and did my best to tune in to a garbled radio feed on the Armed Forces Network. The Irvin and Deion injury sequences were quite confusing to me since the English radio feed was inconsistent.

I ended up catching my first game in person when we moved back to the States in 1998 -- the humiliating loss to Arizona and Jake Plummer. It's been a bumpy ride ever since.
