No.

It's showboating that is unbecoming of a team started by Landry.

Plus, it'll only bring back bad memories of TO and push the fans further away.

Not to mention Bill doesn't like that kind of junk either.

Just win a Super Bowl, that's all I want.

I would like to see him polish the star on his hands and knees after his first TD. That would be better than a disrespectful dance.

That would he a clear violation and cost the team 15 yards. Not worth it. I wouldn't even want him to polish the start and kiss it. That too would be a 15 yard penalty. I just want to see him dominate and take the team back to the superbowl.

Ditto. The poll should be, "Would you prefer to see TO symbolically emrace the star via some sort of celebration?"

If he does some sort of dance, I'll laugh at him in disgust.

I say YES, but really it doesn't matter. As long as we make it to the super bowl.

It'll have the place going crazy. I can't wait. I'm gonna have to get the wife to take the pictures cause I'm gonna be jumping up and down.

Quick Who lost the Super Bowl 3 years ago? Times up. Nobody remembers those who just get to the Super Bowl. They remember the winners. It's not enough for me for them to just "Get to the Super Bowl". This teams standards are higher than that. Just win the Super Bowl. That's would satisfy me.

I bet you half the fans will boo him if he does it.

Heck, if it wouldn't have been for New England winning so many in a row, I'd have had to stop and count back years to remember who won.

corrections made to the post. :p:

I would never want that idiotic clown to ever dance on the star. If we have a huge lead though, and a 15-yard penalty won't really be that bad, I would consider appreciating his kissing of the star, especially if it's against the stupid Deadskins.

//edit: darn, cajuncowboy beat me to the correction...

and the answer is...Carolina Panthers!

You underestimate the shallowness of the casual NFL fan

He's a damn talented receiver so I'm assuming he'll score a TD in his first home game. Games like that tend to have more of the hardcore fan base. I'm guessing at least 1/4 of the stadium will boo him if he prances on the star. If he does what Cajun suggested, I think people will cheer him, but if he does the exact same thing he did in the San Fran game or make it even worse by doing a Deion-esque dance, it's going to be a rough start for him with the fans.

Shallow? Please.

Yes, shallow. Either that or long term memory loss. Osama Bin Laden could be signed by Dallas, and would be embraced the minute he scores a touchdown. That's the nature of pro sports.

I'll take that bet. How much?

I'm guessing the boos will be loud enough to be noticeable in the gamecast. I'm not sure how you can judge what would be half the stadium.
