As usual we have someone making a "knee-jerk" reaction based on a very small sample size... specifically the start of the 2008 season.

Cowboy fans never fail to amaze me with their short-sightedness.

It sucks, but at least this one is growing little nub legs.

I still need more evidence before I call the guy injury prone.

Are you sure? I could have sworn he missed quite a few games his rookie year and got injured the following year in TC.

I remember the Spears injury complaints pretty well and im pretty sure he has missed some time.

He has never missed a regular-season or playoff game -- he's 55-for-55 so far. And he has started the past 49 games.

He has had some training camp injuries, but that's it.

asante is a great corner,
personally, i think he does the best job jumping those short routes of any CB currently in the NFL, so i would take him over Newman.
That said, Newman is still a good corner, he just needs to get back on the field.

I hope Jerry learns a lesson and does not sign Canty and Spears for big money.. They are not worth it.. However I was wrong about Flozell. He's been outstanding. Fire away..

Newman has shut down Moss in man-to-man coverage for an entire game when we've had him shadow Moss everywhere.

He got beat by Moss on one pass last week when he busted the coverage. I'd bet it doesn't happen again -- especially if he's healthy.
