Wrong. Jimmy wanted competition and not complacency. No one was handed the keys. And Jimmy wasn’t sold on anyone. Aikman didn’t seal anything until he won Super Bowls, regardless of his draft position. Just another thing that would never happen under Jerry who just made the our current Playoffs choking QB the highest paid player ever when he could have just waited it out. Oh yeah, another thing Jimmy would have done because he just said it in an interview last week!
