How many trades will they make by tomorrow?

Who knows, but the idea that the guys we don’t want are going to be desirable enough to other teams to trade a pick for gets kicked about a little too often and player for player bottom of the roster trades aren’t easy to match up

Jerry is aging and the Jones boys think this is their best roster in a long time. Wouldn’t surprise me if they traded high picks for a player they feel puts them over the top.

I think they might make 1 or 2.
1. If they really want to move Joseph, I think they will be able to

Other than that, I think it might be unlikely. The guys they want to keep they will probably be able to. Land and Bostic are probably the most likely to get poached from the PS. Other than that, any other loss would be meh. Trading Joseph opens a spot for Scott (which they may have been intent on keeping either way. So I dont know if there really is a major need to open roster spots

Incoming: A competent HB2 is a possibility if someone is trading one. But I think if they make a move at HB its like more of a post week 1 signing

Trade for better offensive line depth is about only thing I see possible this late. We have good depth all over.

Save the trades for into the season to answer any unexpected injuries. More gold players available than usual in mid-season in recent years.

I think it is more likely that they trade for a 6th or 7th round pick.

Making trades this time of year must be really hard. First, every team is trying to get down to 53 players so they are probably already looking to protect certain guys. Then, everyone knows players will be cut this week so why not wait until the dust clears before making any trades? Maybe the guy you want will be out their as a free agent.

I am sure the Cowboys will try to move some players like Gallimore, Joseph and Cox, but I bet they find few takers. I mean if all they could get for Amari Cooper was a 5th and nothing for La'el Collins then its unlikely they get any offers for the guys they are shopping around. There are already reports they will part with KJ and Cox to why give up anything for guys who will be on the street in a few days?

Jerry just traded away a fourth round pick. He values his draft picks, especially high draft picks far too much to trade away a high draft pick at this point. If he were to trade away high pick, it would happen during the season when he realizes he has a serious problem like he did at WR when he traded for Amari Cooper. He traded a one and a three for WR Roy Williams during the season. Both were desperation moves that happened during the season.

Possible Oline trade? The draft picks are slim so we’ll see.

You have to imagine the Grier showcase will net them a 7th or a decent bubble player from another team. They need OL and DL depth, so we might see two more outside players brought on to the 53.

I hope they do not trade Joseph. It would be nice if he keeps improving in the next 2 years, and takes gilmores spot

If they make a trade it's for a player they don't want to have to fight for. I don't see anything happening where we deal a premium pick ...if anything happens I think its either Joseph or Lewis getting shipped out to replenish the picks we already delt. A player for player is an option, but that normally doesn't happen much.
