How many trades will they make by tomorrow?

With young players such as Asim Richards, T.J. Bass, and Matt Weletzko showing value, a primary veteran backup on the offensive line could be the play.

With names like Bear's Cody Whitehair and the Buc's Ryan Jensen among the players on this list, available veteran linemen with digestible contracts do not appear to be available. Asking them to play a reserve role is an even bigger obstacle.

As for any off-the-ball linebackers, the only feasible target would be Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker, yet any deal would have to include Miami eating a significant portion of his large salary. The same rules as above apply here as well.

Change of scenery

Sometimes a player gets to a city and they simply do not fit. And yes, fit matters.

The LA Chargers drafted linebacker Daiyan Henley in the third round and added former Viking Eric Kendricks to shore up their run defense which ranked among the worst in the league. It was done so in order to find a replacement for former first round pick Kenneth Murray Jr.

The Texas native had a standout career at the University of Oklahoma and after the team declined his fifth year option, perhaps a change of scenery, along with some cap gymnastics, could provide the Cowboys with the depth they may seek.

Murray has been a liability in the run game but has done well playing in coverage. The Cowboys circling back on a highly touted prospect they interviewed during the pre-draft process is a tale told before.

Adding Murray for depth purposes may be beneficial for both teams. Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn helping an athlete reach their potential is something we have come to expect but any interest would come with salary question marks.

Murray has a relatively low base salary of $2.3 million while his prorated bonus of just under $2 million is a cap charge as opposed to actual cash flow. Is that low enough for the Cowboys to be interested?

I don't know about a trade but I think they'll be watching the cuts

The only area w/ sufficient depth to make a trade, IMO, is DL. But with the Sam Williams situation, who knows...

1. If they really want to move Joseph, I think they will be able to

Other than that, I think it might be unlikely. The guys they want to keep they will probably be able to. Land and Bostic are probably the most likely to get poached from the PS. Other than that, any other loss would be meh. Trading Joseph opens a spot for Scott (which they may have been intent on keeping either way. So I dont know if there really is a major need to open roster spots

Incoming: A competent HB2 is a possibility if someone is trading one. But I think if they make a move at HB its like more of a post week 1 signing
If healthy Lewis is tradable but I don’t see Joseph bringing much if anything

Dallas Cowboys defensive back Kelvin Joseph is defiantly speaking out against critics who believe he might be cut by the team as the Tuesday 53-man roster deadline approaches.
"Nice articles,'' Joseph wrote on Twitter this weekend. "I ain't giving up!''

Did he excel? Not to the naked eye, no. ... though maybe the viewpoint is warped because the trio ahead of him - Stephon Gilmore, Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland - set the bar so high.

My guess is zero trades BUT who would've thought the Trey Lance trade was in the works?

None. Fans do this every year. Over value our own players because they made a few plays in PS games.
I did as well, except the last 2 or 3 years. Now I post what I just did. And I am not knocking the teams or fans, it is just natural to think that way.

I will be surprised if we work a trade, and one that benefits us. If they do, then maybe we can get 1 or 2 late draft picks.
Grier was just released, so his showcase game did not get any interest.
