Much like Brady's Patriots in 2006, it could be okay with average talent. Add a talent like Moss along with Welker, it became unstoppable.
But you will not see Romo with gaudy numbers and the offense is not explosive without a big play receiver to open things up and above all, actually make a big play. That's where Owens comes in. We need an elite WR or we can spin our wheels. It is just that simple.
Don't forget our TE is a fantastic receiving option too. IND got by pretty nicely in '04 and '05 with 4 receivers on the field in Harrison, Wayne, Stokely, and TE Clark. It'd be something if we could add an elite-level guy like Fitz to go with Witten, Owens, and Crayton.
