Brotha, I bet you were one of them Ashton Jeanty fans lol.
my advice is to check him out, or just sit back and watch, time will reveal, if I am wrong so be it , it won’t be the first time and it will not be the last.
But I am confident that he will but I am basing that off of my own opinion, I know athletes and I have been coaching long enough to see and know things, but I only keep that to the sports that I played and love, football, track and basketball.
I recall Barkley having fumble issues NY.The problem with Blue has been his tendency to fumble the ball. Defenses know this and will exploit it. For this reason, I don't see Blue having any advantage over the other RBs on the roster. If the coaches work with him maybe he can overcome this flaw. But it remains to be seen.
OhWe are going to have 7 THOUSAND yards.....650 carries....and 74 TDs.
Not really. If you run the ball half the time but the offense is moving the ball well ypu get more offensive plays. So WR targets don’t have to go down but explosive plays can easily go up. If you can run then play action opens up chunk plays.having an effective run game doesn’t mean you aren’t gonna still throw then play action ball half the time anywayI don't disagree but will Coach commit to the run? You know Pickens and Lamb will raise a stink if they do.
When is the last time you committed to something that did not work.I don't disagree but will Coach commit to the run? You know Pickens and Lamb will raise a stink if they do.
My guess is he won't get the chance to put up numbers like that. Aside from Emmitt, Julius Jones and Zeke in the last ~35 years the Cowboys don't give their rookie RBs a lot of work.I really think Blue will surprise here.........1200 yds
Maybe 1200 yards combined in both the run and pass game. If they try to give him 20+ carries a game he will have a short carrier. My guess is he won't get the chance to put up numbers like that. Aside from Julius Jones and Zeke in the last 20 years the Cowboys don't give their rookie RBs a lot of work.
You are forgetting who Pickens and Lamb are. They are selfish divas that only care about themselves. If the team does well, but their roles are diminished, they will not be happy. Not really. I could see us ending up with 2 specialists, with Williams and Sanders not being good at either or good enough trying to do both.I’m going for approx. 2000 yards rushing between Williams, Sanders and Blue.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mafah or Luepke also made the cut, but I’m only going to give predictions for the main three.
Listed by likely pecking order after camp (although you’ll see I think that will have changed by the end of the season).
Williams: ~650 yds, 5 TDs, ~200 yds rec., 1 TD
Sanders: ~550 yds, 6 TDs, ~300 yds rec., 2 TDs
Blue: >750 yds, 6 TDs, ~300 yds rec., 4 TDs
I don’t know about Pickens but lamb isn’t selfish to me. He wants the ball in the passing game like most stars do but winning cures that. And it’s not like running the ball effectively half the time takes catches away. Means less 3rd and longs but really opens up the big plays in the passing gameYou are forgetting who Pickens and Lamb are. They are selfish divas that only care about themselves. CD has been paid. He may be more relaxed. Pickens not so much, until he gets his money.Lamb is every bit as selfish as Pickens when it comes to the distribution of the football. Or maybe you have missed his pouting when things don't go his way. Now maybe the new coach has talked to them about this, and they have a greater understanding of playing team-oriented football. I doubt this greatly, but we'll see.
Then traded CD. Team needs to come first. You are forgetting who Pickens and Lamb are. They are selfish divas that only care about themselves. If the team does well, but their roles are diminished, they will not be happy.
Where’s your evidence for any of these bizarre takes?Lamb is every bit as selfish as Pickens when it comes to the distribution of the football. His bad behavior on the field is on tape. You look it up. I'll give you one example... last year's loss to the Ravens. CeeDee had a terrible game and was caught on camera on the sideline having a spat with Dak. It's not Dak's fault that Lamb was dropping balls, yet Lamb needed to make a scene. He's thrown fits many times on the field when things don't go his way. You must not have been paying attention.Where’s your evidence for any of these bizarre takes?
