How much better could this team be with Amendola?

I don't agree on this one Supe. You may see Amendola as a spark but the actual team may not. Yes, he gave maximum effort during training camp and he was easy to root for but I don't think that he will come into the game and do anything that will "spark" this team to reach the level they need to be at this point.

This team needs leadership and playmakers that performs on a high level consistently. From this view point, Amendola doesn't fit the bill just yet in my eyes.

I believe his TT coaches described him as a natural leader. In any case, you can't really quantify the edge in chemistry he and Brad likely have over Brad and other receivers - we already saw that pay off a bit last Sunday with Miles.

I don't like to lay insults but this is one of those threads I'm forcing myself to hold back. We have a hard enough time getting Miles Austin touches, especially now that RW is here. Just not a need at all. We would be worse with Amendola playing to answer the question.
Don't hold back, baby. I lay it out for ya'll to play it out. This is just one of a myriad suggestions rolling around in my mind-grapes to take this team where it needs to go. You got a better suggestion? Lay it on me, homie.

You put in Amendola and it's like taking Brad Johnson to Vegas and giving him the Rainman Suite.

Hahaha! Good positive personality you have. As per your request, I just think the last thing we need to do is WR at this point. Just get these guys executing, no more personnel moves at that position. What we need to do is get the running game and that defense going. Focus on becoming a takeaway centric team. Continue consistent ST's play from last game.

We really need that running game to take the lead on this offense for a few weeks so this line needs to push its weight around. I rather focus on Montrae Holland and how he is going to contribute than Amendola right now. I say this as assertively and respectfully as possible.

Talk to me baby!!! Definitely could be Johnsons AMEN-dola............

WTH. We've nothing to lose and I do think, at this point, he could contribute.

The guy really showed some stuff on Hard Knocks. I believe TO said something about how amazing he was, and how he could start on any team in the NFL, and Romo was like yah I know. With his quickness and good route running I really think that is the missing piece to make Brad like super-effective, if only the Great Red Hype would use him!

I needed this thread after a tough week.

Yes, Amendola would have solved our offensive, defensive, and ST problems. Heck, he could have solved our coaching problems.

Amen for Amendola. He's been the missing link.

:lmao:

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: He showed me how to fumble a kick off in the preseason. Only route that kid is running right now is through his mommies legs. Practice squad shmactice shquad.

Wow... This is thread is an instant classic and will be going in my bookmarks!

Amendola, Could maybe teach some of our players to play with Heart and pure 100% Effort on every play/every practice/every game. He hasn't done anything for the NFL yet, but I think He can Help us next year. I hope he stays on the practice squad, learns the play book. :starspin

I believe he would put Roy Williams on the bench ;-)

I love me some Danny Amendola almost as much as I love me some TO but :lmao: @ your post.

After reading all of your replies punk I must say that this thread is indeed a classic. You outdid yourself up in this piece. :D

I always crack up a little when I see Mario Lopez in your avatar.

How about adding him to the team? He was an outstanding athlete at "Bayside High", and he acted and played with heart.
And just look at those dimples...

Shocking post.

tbh, this is a great thread full of factoids and facts.

Amendola would provide the team with heart and determination to win, a determination that is unmatched by anyone (unless they too have heart and determination).
