So if Tony retires this off season, you don't think they'd draft a QB in the 1st?Just like they did after Aikman, right?

No. When was the last time they drafted a first round QB? Aikman?
Dallas saves 9 mil next yr with a june cut of romo
Fair point, but it's a completely different league now.
Even if they did, have there been any blue chip first rounders in the last few years that have lived up to the hype, besides Luck? There's tons of Jake Lockers, Christian Ponders, and Matt Sanchez in the league.
True, but that doesn't mean the team shouldn't take one. I would think they know when Romo leaves they're going to need a new franchise QB. I can't imagine any way in hell that they think Weeden is it. If they do, then I don't even know...
I agree with you, for the record, but I don't see their thought process changing, with Kaeprnick, Wilson, and Andy Dalton tearing it up as mid round picks. They'll roll mroe busted 1st rounders, baseball players, and mediocre 3rd rounders in here and try to sell us they're the next Russell Wilson.
