how much money are we under the cap?

I was reading another board and it said we were 3 mill under the cap mean while the eagles are 30 mill under the cap and the giants were 15 mill under the cap. are we only 3 mill under the cap?

does free agency start today? no

it doesnt matter what we are right now...nor does it matter how much or how little other teams have right now

Oh I thought it was 10 right now..and that wasn't counting recontructing any contracts or placing tenders...

Around 7 right now but that could change quite a bit depending on what they do with Henry, Roy Williams, Ellis, etc.

The final cap hasn't even been set yet, and we still haven't tendered our RFAs and EFAs yet, but the estimate right now is that we'll have about $10 million of cap room when free agency begins. But we could have a lot more if we release or renegotiate with certain players.

Are draft picks factored in? You got to figure we dont come away w/ 11 rookies. Maybe closer to 7 aftet trade ups and picks traded to recoup the Holland pick.

If it's true that we have 10 million..Ellis,Henry and Roy could add an extra 10 mil to that...not to mention some recontructuring.

what's Spencer's cap hit? cause that would be a lot of money tied into the OLB position between Ware and Peppers. I think Peppers land in NE.

Just wait and see...if Jones doesnt go out and sign a big name or two within hours of the free agency period, CZ will meltdown, because the vast majority believe that buying big name players is the thing to do.

They can't build a rookie CAP number till the NFL sends out the magic Comp pick additions to the regular draft list and it is set in stone.

Even after that come draft day with trades the CAP number for rookies moves a bit.

Teams generally know now what then ballpark number will be - but not the actual number. The NFL will give them that number after the draft is completed and adjustments from trades and other player movement is taken into consideration. I think like the supplmental draft choices.
