How the Cowboys BEAT the Patriots

TunaFan33 is scared of his own shadow! :laugh2: He's always proclaiming doom and gloom for every game. The Cowboys could be playing the University of The Blind's football team and he would have doubts...

I'm not predicting a victory or anything, ... but to say we don't have a chance ???

We WILL beat NE because:

We will jam Moss and beat him up early...you hit him and he pouts, when he pouts he doesn't run his routes.

We will get some hits on pretty boy...Brady is exactly like Peyton, he isn't used to getting hit and when he does he gets flustered and will make a bad throw or two.

Come out throwing...our OL can't run block early to save their life, so instead of running Jones and Barber into the teeth of a defense and sputtering early on offense because of it, come out attacking them. Score early and this one won't be a shootout, Dallas will pull away and win handily.

Don't fear them, don't alter our schemes, dictate the game to them and punch them in the freaking face...that should knock that little smirk off of Belicheats mug.

We better figure out a way, since no other team in the league has, to get in Brady's face. He get's hit less than a Travis Henry bong man. Seriously, lookig through the box scores from yesterday and the Browns had ZERO sacks. If he can stand back there all day it will be a long day, and I will surely grow to hate Welker by 7 pm. We have to get pressure on him and have our backers play a great game underneath.

If we can stop the run with just our front 7 then well be in good shape.

Hamlin has been playing very well deep and if we have Roy slamming people coming across the middle generating alligator arms. We need Spencer and Ellis to step up. Belichek is going to double Ware and we need to make him pay.

Everyone has been cheating a safety up early to stop the run. I dont think Belichek will do that so running the ball against their front 7 will be key. If they cheat a safety well kill them.

Look, that's kind of what I'm saying. There is no way that Dallas is going to prevent the Patriots from scoring the entire game. Stack the line and MASH him on the blitz. Go single coverage if you have to, but get to Brady. He needs to get hit several times, even if it means giving up 14 points early. The beating he'll take will pay off later in the game. Dallas can match the Pats drive for drive, and they'll probably have to. If Dallas gets to a 14-14 tie in the 2nd quarter, and Brady has been sacked 4 or 5 times, then the Cowboys are on their way to a win.

Question for you, nathanlt...do you think T.O. will have any contributions towards a win?

Let's not sidetrack this thread with a sidebar.

We also need to account for Watson the TE.

I know the Bills are this week, but I CAN look ahead to the next game!

First, Dallas has to trust their offense. What the defense needs to do is concede the deep ball, and mid range slants, etc. In doing so, they can stack the line with run blitzes and passing blitzes. Really wear down the Pats O-line and running game, even get Brady a little shaky and tentative.

The Pats will score early, but that's fine, Dallas will match their quick TD's with long, sustained TD drives, wear down the Pat's D, beat them up a little bit in the process. The only way the Pats will score is with the deep and mid-range throws, a lower percentage pass. Dallas will eventually start to get those interceptions because of those longer throws, and get ahead on the scoreboard by putting points on the board every single time!! The pass rush for Big D has to step up big time, but I think the Patriots O-line will eventually break.
:madden:

I am glad that we'll be playing the Patriots at home. Homefield advantage is just as valid a point as any other factor this early and we have it.

I hope we beat the Bills tom night, b/c I do NOT think we have a chance to beat the Pats.

Not saying we should "crown their tails", but the Pats ARE for real, cheaters or no.

Pats have not beat anyone yet.

We beat a healthy Bears team at least in Chicago.

Man, that's a lot to ask for, .. 4 or 5 sacks by the second qtr. ??

Why don't we just knock him out before halftime ?;)

Maybe Phillips should take a page out of Buddy's book and offer $100,000 bounty on Brady.

I say that the cheats are a heck of a team, and if we beat them, it should show the world who we are.
