Very good explanation of how the Giants managed to confuse Dak on Sunday Night and get him to hold the ball longer than usual by taking away his first option.

The article explains what a fantastic job Janoris Jenkins did shutting Dez down. Some try to explain Dez's lack of production that night by claiming he was taking the night off or something. There aren't that many teams where a DC would be comfortable leaving 1 of their CB's in a 1-on-1 with Dez Bryant all game long.

well our coaching staff should be able and needs to adjust for it..... shoring up one weakness always leads to weakness somewhere else.. Need to use what opponents might do, and turn it into a weapon ourselves

:hammer:

chess moves baby. counter to the counter. u cant always out 90s cowboys a team (execution and talent). coaches have to strategize and make adjustments.

maybe its good we saw a counter to our vanilla gameplan that works to win before the playoffs as opposed to during the playoffs. dare i say thanks Gmen. now lets go on a 6 game win streak.

Need more pick plays to free up quick routes. There's no way NE WRs are better than ours and they are always open because of pick plays.

IMO, if Dak would take early advantage of the running lanes and take off, even for a few yards, just that threat alone would open up passing lanes, especially down the middle.

Also, try hitting zeke out in the flat more often, and let him do work.

Please use more play action, I formation, and misdirection. One more thing, can we get some slants.

This is why Linehan going shotgun with Dunbar in there on 3rd down for the entire game was so dumb.

This does not compute.

Dez Bryant is just like all the other elite WRs.

Also I read where Roger Goodell is still gunning after ZEKE for his brutal yet never charged d.v. case, Jaylon Smith will never return to play football for the Dallas cowboys and the n.y.gnats take on the t.b. yuccaneers this weekend,,,thanks, I'm miles ahead of the curve after pulling up that website,,,:oldcouple:

I only know Julian. But he is no Dez Bryant. Those guys play hard and smart. We got guys like TWill who don't know when to step out of bounds.

I would like to see DAK run some options with Zeke trailing.

Could break a game open.

There are a lot of writers that never played or coached the game, other than pee wee or middle schools, they have no idea. **** happens , let it go, on to the next game.

I'd love to see the play to Hogan develop as I really want to know how the hell he got ten yards of separation on the deep pass from Brady. I'd like to have that play in our playbook. LOL.

In a phrase...Steve Spagnuolo vs. Prescott...the score is 2-0 and not a trend we want to see extended long term. Romo is 6-1 since 2012. The thing that gets me about it is the fact they did what they did without JPP in the lineup. I can only imagine what would have happened if he had in fact played. Center Joe Looney will never pass for a situational RT in this league. At the end of the day...the Rams, Browns and Bears all scored more points against New York with JPP in the lineup...three teams at the absolute bottom of the league in net points per drive.

I agree with most of your post except this is more Spagnuolo vs Linehan. It wasn't Dak's idea to pull Zeke every 3rd down for Dunbar.
