True, Romo is a Giants destroyer, but the first loss to NY was by one point and was Dak's very first game, and the going was pretty tough in the cold Sunday, there being 18 punts in the game and a FG that was a yard short. A third meeting would probably come with an entirely different dynamic.

Very good explanation of how the Giants managed to confuse Dak on Sunday Night and get him to hold the ball longer than usual by taking away his first option.

The article explains what a fantastic job Janoris Jenkins did shutting Dez down. Some try to explain Dez's lack of production that night by claiming he was taking the night off or something. There aren't that many teams where a DC would be comfortable leaving 1 of their CB's in a 1-on-1 with Dez Bryant all game long.
I think the DC feels more comfortable leaving a CB 1v1 on Dez all night with the adverse weather conditions....combined with an average route runner...combined with a rookie QB that is still growing in the accuracy department. Not to mention...Jenkins is a good player. I am not sure if that strategy would work in a climate controlled environment with Romo throwing Dez the ball.

I agree with most of your post except this is more Spagnuolo vs Linehan. It wasn't Dak's idea to pull Zeke every 3rd down for Dunbar.
I still wouldn't trust Linehan with a potato gun. I think he's still got that Air Coryell alter-ego...though he couldn't totally hide it Sunday night.

IMO, if Dak would take early advantage of the running lanes and take off, even for a few yards, just that threat alone would open up passing lanes, especially down the middle.

Also, try hitting zeke out in the flat more often, and let him do work.

Please use more play action, I formation, and misdirection. One more thing, can we get some slants.
lol yes please, but dont hold your breath waiting to see those !
JG is slow to change anything.

Broddius broke film down right after game and said it was as if Dez hasn't played football before. That obviously had trickle down effect to Dak. I think we see bounce back game.

Why does that matter? They were not going to run the ball on 3rd and medium or 3rd and long even with Zeke in the game.

What bugs me is everyone is talking about how great this Giants defense is, yet they are 23rd in passing yards allowed.

Clearly other teams have a better idea of how to attack them than our coaching staff does.

Need more pick plays to free up quick routes. There's no way NE WRs are better than ours and they are always open because of pick plays.

Esp against press man. Pick plays are the ideal routes to run

Yards don't win games. In the seven games in which the Giants have allowed the fewest passing yards, they're 5-2. In the six games in which they've allowed the most passing yards, they're 4-2.

Look instead at the opposing QB's passer rating. In the three games in which the Giants have allowed over a 90 rating, they're 0-3. When they hold the opponent under 90, they're 9-1.

Along with the Broncos, they're one of the two best pass defenses in the league.

Somehow Dez managed to amass 350+ yards on 21 catches & 4 TD's against the Steelers, Ravens, Commanders & Vikings, who seem to have pretty OK defenses this season.

I'm going to go with maybe Janoris Jenkins had a career game, not that Dez suddenly sucks at his job.
