Accounting for and stopping the RPO will be important. I don't know where it stands in importance of defending against these guys. But Dallas couldn't handle the Eagles RPO in the first game. This is what alarms me more than anything else.
But, I cannot help but think knocking the snot out of Purdy over and over will move his concentration away from making a play to being aware of where the beat down is coming from. Being more physical than the 9ers will set the stage for a major upset in the eyes of the football world.
Moore needs to call the same level of game he did against the Bucs. I'd like to see Ferguson and Schultz dominate the middle of the field. Move the sticks and score regularly enough to force the 9ers to account for them, and then MG and Cee Dee can feast.
Now add in Pollard gashing them with the run, and both Zeke and Pollard in the underneath passing game when you run those bastages off the line of scrimmage.
I would suggest this is the most important game for all of us in the last 27 years. A victory here would throw a monkey wrench in the talking points of the fickle press.
And the Eagles, were they to beat the Giants as we all assume, would suddenly find they aren't as confident as they think they are. Just think of what the other teams vying for a berth in the Super Bowl will be thinking if Dallas beats the 9ers convincingly.
