I’d say confuse him more than blitz, which should be part of that.

He seems elusive and when he flings it up there, there is somehow very often a receiver there to grab it.

Being the underdog, I’d try to throw everything at him. It’s unreal that their 3rd stringer is probably better than the other two, but that’s why championships aren’t just won on the field, but by the front office in the off-season. I need not explain the disadvantage we are at there.

Jerry and his kid couldn’t even understand the deals the SF and Phi GMs make, let alone pull them off themselves.
Agree. You can blitz but pick your spots. DQ is an experienced HC/DC in this league. I would surmise that he has a game plan for this inexperienced kid.

Stopping the run is the Key to stopping San Fran. The Cowboys need to wrap up and and clean up their tackling. Sometimes players are too focused on knocking the ball down instead bring down the runner. If this team can make the team on dimensional then they will have greater success blitzing. They also have to be aware that he can scramble.

The 49ers are just another stepping stone to the Super Bowl.

Go Dallas!!!
Stopping or slowing down the run , while offense goes full attack mode ( without turnovers) and score high real fast.

Getting a lead and slowing the run , will make the rookie Qb need to pass to get points and then we can bring full on pass rush and demotivate him and confuse, induce mistakes . Key is not to be sloppy with turnovers when opportunity presents, no dropped ints .

Accounting for and stopping the RPO will be important. I don't know where it stands in importance of defending against these guys. But Dallas couldn't handle the Eagles RPO in the first game. This is what alarms me more than anything else.

But, I cannot help but think knocking the snot out of Purdy over and over will move his concentration away from making a play to being aware of where the beat down is coming from. Being more physical than the 9ers will set the stage for a major upset in the eyes of the football world.

Moore needs to call the same level of game he did against the Bucs. I'd like to see Ferguson and Schultz dominate the middle of the field. Move the sticks and score regularly enough to force the 9ers to account for them, and then MG and Cee Dee can feast.

Now add in Pollard gashing them with the run, and both Zeke and Pollard in the underneath passing game when you run those bastages off the line of scrimmage.

I would suggest this is the most important game for all of us in the last 27 years. A victory here would throw a monkey wrench in the talking points of the fickle press.

And the Eagles, were they to beat the Giants as we all assume, would suddenly find they aren't as confident as they think they are. Just think of what the other teams vying for a berth in the Super Bowl will be thinking if Dallas beats the 9ers convincingly.
