How to use Dak who played a good game

Sometimes, guys just aren't open. The great Tom Brady missed on 20 throws on Sunday. He was 21/41. Sometimes, QBs miss, sometimes pressure gets to QBs, and sometimes no one's open.

So after two full seasons in the NFL our QB needs help reading the field needs half field reads predetermined reads and has problems processing information ? Sounds like we have QB problems. Maybe just maybe we need a real QB.

Its also because of predictable overly-used curl routes by the offense. Every time the play breaks down, I see our receivers just standing there. I bet we don't even practice for receivers to get open when the play breaks down.

Dak just needs better coaching. Its obvious that he doesn't get the coaching needed to make him more accurate or to trust in his receivers to get themselves open. The playcalling is atrocious also. When all we do is stand around when Dak is scrambling and expect him to throw the ball to you then that another coaching issue. As what Collin pointed out. Dak sometimes doesn't get help when from his recievers. All they do is stand there.

If you can find another franchise QB...sure. But you make chicken salad out of chicken shxx. He can be serviceable under right scheme and coaching. Dak needs to make sure that he is not a liability.

Only partly true. During his rookie year he did an amazing job probably because the coaches did "dumb" down the offense and limited his reads since he is fresh out of college. Then the coaches decided that since he's in 2nd and 3rd year now he should be able to handle "more".
Dak just can't process information fast enough to get rid of the ball. He does "see" receivers "coming" open and throw to the anticipated area well enough.

Good points. I think that the best QBs know the play call, understand the defensive coverage scheme, and have an idea who will be open; or at least where the greatest opportunity for success will be. Not sure if Dak is at that level yet, or can get there, if not. Cooper helps stretch the D now, which should help underneath and intermediate routes.
