I have pulled two all nighters at work, have a full day ahead and and am really dragging right now. Since Hos did right by his family, went to the Midnight Harry Potter showing and is now royally dragging as well, maybe it is time to solicit some advice on how to keep from falling asleep on my keyboard.

SOOOOO, excluding Yeag's personal home remedies, what do you folks do to keep from crashing????

Energy Drinks? Of course you will probably crash even worse after a few hours.:laugh2:

I am an insomniac. I can get by on 2 or 3 hours of sleep. I just need something to pump adrenaline and I will be good for the whole day. Anything will work, but someone pissing me off seems to work fastest. Stupid drivers is a good one.

That wouldn't take much :laugh2:

Sleep usually helps :D

Oh man, I could use some of that right now! Sometimes I just have to get stuff done in a very small window of time and the only way to get it done is to push on through.

5 hour energy is supposed to be real good

or 6 hour power, makes you run as fast as Kenyans

I don't see how you're pulling two all nighters and making it through the next day. I worked 36 hours straight once and I couldn't think clearly such that my work product severely suffered.

Some strong coffee and light stretches throughout the day usually works for me. I had one of those days yesterday and it turned out to be a very productive day.

It's pretty dicey right now, let me tell you. I'm clocking out at 3:30 Central and planning on sleeping until the wife wakes me up for dinner.

Put thumb tacks inside your shoes, the pain will keep you awake.

Does it work? I don't know, I'm not dumb enough to have ever tried it. :D

You probably don't have any so this won't help, but most diet pills have caffeine and synephrine ( a cousin to the now banned affedra) and really give you a boost for several hours that energy drinks really don't come close to doing, for me anyway. But for future reference, you can pick them up at Walmart, GNC, Walgreens and many other stores. Just read the label and look for those two ingredients.

edit: Yohambine is another good ingredient to look for.
