How we make the playoffs

At 1-3 now, we have 12 games remaining. We need to win 9 of them to finish 10-6, which is a realistic division winner/wild card record, but no guarantee of anything.

This Sunday we go to the Metrodome to visit Randy Moss, who obviously has voodoo on his side.

NYG and Jax at home, then to GB, NYG and home for Detroit and the Saints. At Indy, home for Philly and Wash. Christmas in the Arizona desert and a New Years hangover in Philly.

Looks like 7-9 to me, and that's if we fix most of the stupidity. We have had the most talent in each game so far, but this is probably the dumbest highly talented team of any kind I've ever seen.

Honestly, the parity in the nfl this year is sky high. The saints, packers, and colts aren't the teams we saw last year. Everyone knows that when we play a divisional opponent, it is ALWAYS a close game. I see the Jags and Lions is wins for sure but what do I know.

I live in AZ and even though the Cardinals arent THAT good of a team, playing in that stadium is hard to do.

I still see playoffs but I am a glass half full type of guy.

If we lose badly at MN which looks likely, wouldn't it be the right move to fire Wade and make Jason interim head coach to finish out the season?

You can start evaluating Garrett in that role- and give him a slim chance to save the season- and at the same time start lining up another successor if JG fails as expected.

We are only one game down in the loss column. It's been a crazy year in the NFL so far so anything can happen. Maybe we get lucky.

How would Garrett "save the season", or even be a decent HC, if he can't even be a decent OC? He sucks. Period.

This year will be Jerry's worst since his first, and with the 2nd highest payroll in the league thats UNACCEPTABLE. Book it this is a 3 or 4 win team at most. As much as it pains me to say it and with a looming lockout for the next season my kids will have NO great cowboy memories, nothing to cheer for and this Organization will loose an entire generation of fans. That is like a knife in the heart Mr. Jones......thanks for the memories.

Before the Houston game, if you have told me we will beat them in Houston and then lose to the Titans after the bye, I would have thought you had no clue. I think we'll beat some teams we don't think we can beat and we'll lose to some teams we think we can beat easily. No matter what though, I think we do win at least 7 or more games.

The Houston win was extremely overrated.

I never understood why the fans here and on the local Dallas radio station got so excited about that win. Every single team the Texans have played this year put up massive yards on the Texans Defense and they were absolutely destroyed by the Giants today.

It's sad that the Cowboys have fallen so low that we break out the beer and throw a party after defeating the Texans.
