How we make the playoffs

So many people want to judge the season prematurely. " We're not gonna do this or how we are a 3-4 win team"

This loss sucks, Wade is in trouble if he doesn't turn it around, I know this.

But this same team won 9 of 12 last year. Who knows what they are or aren't capable of.

How are we being premature how many teams start 0-2 and make it to the playoff try like 8-13% range yea how about that. then you follow up 0-2 by losing coming of a bye week to become 1-3.

Yea we where going to kill the Bears after the lose to the Commanders yep then we lose then we win one and the players now understand how they have to pratice and play to win. Then they come out after two weeks to prepare for a team and do the same thing they did the first two weeks of the season. stupid Penalties, Turnovers and failing to force turnovers. Lets not forget missed FG's that is just the start of the issues.

None of which eliminates us from the playoffs.

People let their emotions run amok when evaluating their team sometimes.

Coming back from 1-3 and making the playoffs has been done very few times actually. Add in how tough our schedule is and the fact that we've lost both games we've played at home and well, we're screwed. Too many teams going to be ahead of us in the standings. Is it possible? Yea, but highly, highly unlikely.

Titans started 1-4 in 2003 and met the Raiders in the AFC Championship.

If we lose badly at MN which looks likely, wouldn't it be the right move to fire Wade and make Jason interim head coach to finish out the season?

You can start evaluating Garrett in that role- and give him a slim chance to save the season- and at the same time start lining up another successor if JG fails as expected.

Just curious, what have you seen in Garrett that gives you any shred of confidence that he would make a good HC? He's having a difficult enough time with the OC gig. I can't imagine his performance if significantly more responsibility is put on his back.

Coming back from 1-3 and making the playoffs has been done very few times actually.

It's been done 22 times since 1990, about once per year.

Eh...possible, I guess, but you might want to consider adjusting your expectations a bit.

I'd like to be doom and gloom like most of you but I look at the NFC East and this is WIDE open. This division isn't gonna be won for awhile. Cowboys are still in it. Cowboys just need to get out of cruise control and stop beating themselves.
