How will Dak adapt to a new offensive scheme?

The short answer, he won't. He never has. Remember, McCarthy was given the offense to implement the WC offense. Couldn't do it. Then they hammed up something that they were working on Texas Coast offense.

This is why it will inevitably be Moore. Just keep Dak nice and comfy.

What we need to be doing is hiring a promising coach with a long term plan, starting with a Russel Wilson-like divorce from Dak.
sucks that GOOD things can't happen if this were to happen, damn wasn't Denver just in the playoffs???? lol

yeah they integrated 30% of MM offense into the 70 percent of what was already here, so Kellen comes back and we get back to 100% of the kellen offense, uhhh

Scott Linehan. Kellen Moore. Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheirmer's out. Linehan is not coming back. And Jerry Jones is actively shopping for Moore to return. So, a 'new play caller' may actually end up being an old one Dak Prescott is already accustomed to. You can kinda gauge the answers to your questions for yourself based on what Moore has run before with Prescott if he returns to the team.
No he ‘s not on Moore, can’t talk to him!

Yep, and yet they sold it as overhauling the offense to be more of a west coast style attack. What we got was the same crap just with some additional basic stuff tossed in and a new PR marketing name. That should have told everyone that the system is here because the QB can't do anything more.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We added the already dreaded FORCED slant passes to our offense??? To mix in with the 98% favorite passing route (Curls) sheesh

cooks has to be gone, good guy, time to get younger, Turp I hate how they use him, they hype us up in the off season saying he's going to be used this and that way, and towards the end of the season that's when we see him
That is what they do. Tell us in pre-season all the ways they can use someone but then don't.

Prescott works best in a dink and dunk methodical system, play action, run the football. I don’t know why we ever got away from it.

How do you like the current system pros and cons
I don’t think there is a system. I remember Bill Walsh from San Francisco , he would, script the first quarter plays and not deviate. I think Murray would concentrate so much on what play to call next. He was screwing up field management clock management. Situational football. It was not smooth. It was ugly penalty driven. And that’s on the head coach for not getting it right during the week. I’m glad he’s not here.

Being in the same system for years, then Mike comes in and adds his small wrinkles to the offense. With a new play caller coming in, how will Dak adapt? Will having someone he's familiar with benefit him and this team. The offense is boring, and predictable, it needs a complete overhaul.

Dak likes to be in the shotgun formation often, will this continue? I saw the Rams QB and Hurts in the playoffs have success under center, could we get Dak back under center and get this play action game strong again?? We shall see (getting a running game helps) please give your thoughts
The offensive scheme is not going to change. McCarthy scheme basically was Garrett’s scheme with different terminology. As a Dak Stan, I hate to admit this but Dak limits what an offensive coordinator can do. This offense is made for statue quarterbacks. I don’t think Dak has the arm to play in Detroit or the Rams scheme.

I don’t think a head coach should be calling offensive or defensive plays . I think you should do nothing but concentrate what’s happening on the field. You cannot do both and pay attention. You can’t do it. You’re thinking about what play to call the time clocks running down and you already have a penalty for delay of game. And situation football, that spur of the moment. That’s why we don’t have any.

I think every quarterback limits the play calling that’s why you build it around the quarterback. But I think Prescott is done. His time is over they screwed it up just like Romo.
