How will the Cowboys Defense stop TE Rob Gronkowski?

lol yup we always win in situations like these.

Saints back in '08/'09. 7 point underdog, in NO. Won.
In NY with Kitna, Won.
Undefeated Colts in Dallas in Manning's prime, Won.
In Seattle last year. Won.

Yup.

Gronk only has 28 targets compared to Edelman's 42. Patmon is in for a long day and frankly that's the matchup to worry about.

You're right. The 5"10 Edelman is one of those big targets that a scrub like Patmon just cannot handle.

Whether he's 4'2 or 6'3, Edelman is by far the best slot WR Patmon has faced this season and Brady looks for him 10+ times a game.

You probably don't. To disrupt the offense you need to get to Brady without going massively out of your lanes. On Gronk maybe a LB bump followed by a hand off to Jones with safety help over top. Single up the outside WRs because none of them are exceptional, though i do worry some about amendola.

Gronk can be shut down. I'm not sure we can afford to invest the assets to do so. That approach will leave another receiver open that Brady only has to find, if he has time.

Doesn't matter what we do in coverage if we don't generate some rush. Should be a nice game for Crawford if the DEs can generate some outside pressure to prevent Brady moving a little inside the pocket.

I never said coverage was the way to stop Gronk. I actually agree that the pass rush is essential to prevent the ball from going Gronk's way. I believe McClain will have a better game than Crawford.

We had a NFL starting caliber QB in all the games you mentioned. Right now we don't. We will be outmatched in every way Sunday.. coaching, players and probably fans at the game too.

I think he is almost unstoppable when he is on.

The only way to compete with this offense is to hit them hard. Hit Eddlenuts, Amendola, and Gronk, just hit him at the line, when you can. They are small, outside of Gronk, and quick like Beasley, but bigger.

The secondary needs to get an IV before this game.

do patriots "fans" travel well?

Tell you what... how bout you share with us your man love for Gronk the rest of the year except this week. This week act like the Dallas Cowboys are the object of your fanhood. Deal?
