How will Wade treat his 1st round pick?

I know many did not like how Parcells treated his young players, but having the 1st round pick fetch him water was a fun exercise IMO, it's no different than the vets making the rookies carry their bags, rookie hazing etc.

so I wonder what Wade will have his 1st round pick do?

I don't think Parcells treated his first rounders poorly.

I personally pray that he keeps the earning your stars rule. I love that and hope to see it become a tradition.

How will Wade treat his 1st round pick? Well, what did he say about T.O.? He doesn't "handle" (or "treat") players; Wade Phillips will "work with" the draft picks. I like that because it's a mentality that hints at our new coache's ability to empoer his players rather than just talk dwn to them.

I doubt that Wade will have the 1st rd pick fetch water, before Parcells came in and did that I had not seen any other coach do that so I highly doubt a player coach like Phillips will do that. I saw nothing wrong with Bill doing that but I just don't think that will fit into the family thing Phillips is trying to do

i liked what bill did with 1st rnd picks. kinda helps keep these kids grounded.but i doubt wade will do that though. thats just a bill thing but i liked it, and the making them earn their stars both

I think it's just that you can't improve how weird Buffalo Bill looks. Wade makes it look less scary.

Actually, I wasn' even referring to the photoshop quality (I was an industrial design major that had four required GD classes and I still suck at it), "weak" is just a reflection of my skate/surf/socal backround that I apparently will never get rid of. You know, like..."that **** made me weak!" I don't know, I just thought it was funny.

POST OF THE YEAR - I loved that rule earn your star - exclusive club but once your in your in! Really hope the guys still on staff encourage WP to stick withthat. I want the draft and TC in the next six weeks Im so bored

Aside from the over used head bang thing I agree with you.

Payton also agrees with it -- He makes those Saints rookies earn their Fleur de Lis.

Incidentally, learning about the Fleur de Lis is also a form of hazing.
