The teams that have had the most success vs our defense are the ones that have stayed patient and worked the underneath stuff. Dallas isnt going to give up many big plays so you have to be to stay patient and take what they give you.

This is one of the biggest reasons I love our chances vs the Vikings, Favre is not known for his patience.

I would test the intermediate middle of our defense and use a lot of misdirection. I dont know that either would be effective, but it's something that we haven't seen a lot of lately (largely due to playing Philly back to back), and when we have, it's been moderately effective. Not to mention, since nothing else has been effective, it's worth a shot.

Against our offense, that's a tough one. You just have to pick your defensive strength and try to force them to that, I guess.

It's hard to take away the run when some of our best running plays are from passing formations. The draws really make it hard to just clog the line.

That's pretty much what my post said if you read it again. Nobody has been able to take it away recently....but if you could, that would be the best bet...until Romo starts hitting the plethora of passing targets available to him.

On offense I would tell my OL not to block and my QB to run like a scared rabbit when they come after me and then throw the ball to the closest approaching Cowboys defender and then hit the ground in the fetal position sucking his thumb.

I would tell the Defense to get the hell out of the way and do just like the QB but to scream like girls and run towards the sidelines so that they are completely out of the way.

Offensively a heavy dose of play action and attack the middle of the field. Take few deep shots, but set them up well, and execute when called upon.

We're too sound to get beat on misdirections and screens, so the "use their aggresiveness against them" is hogwash.

On defense it's alot harder IMO. I believe you do everything you can to take Witten out of the game. Allow the big plays to Austin, but do not let Witten convert the third and shorts. Bracket Witten underneath, and roll converage towards Miles. However this really opens this up for Pat underneath, so I dont know.

To stop the run game you really have to have the Dline play an outstanding game. They have to get off blocks and not let lanes develop. Once Felix gets a step, it's trouble.
