There are all kinds of rumors and reports out there about his conduct.... he is named "Baby TO", after all. Now, I can see where you're all coming from when saying you don't want to deal with another player like that... but come on. He's not anything close to what TO has been, TO has singlehandedly torn teams apart. What has Brandon done? All I've heard from him is that he's talked back from time to time, and complained about a few things. But when it really comes down to it, do you see him *****ing and moaning and screaming at people on the sideline? Do you see him running to the center of the field to plant the football on the Cowboy star post-touchdown? No, all in all, he's shut up and simply produced. More-so than I thought after all of the offseason hype last year about his delinquency.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but how could we not want him? He had 22 catches in one game last season.... one game. Not only that, he's had 3 consecutive seasons with 100 catches. Now, I might be a little upset if we traded our first round pick for him, but honestly, I don't think there's much we couldn't do without if we gave it up, reason being we have no glaring needs, so if we can use our first round pick, something fairly irrelevant, to get Marshall why wouldn't we? The safeties we want and could take that will be productive outside of Thomas will be there, IE. Allen and Burnett. There are quiet prospects at OT and ILB that will be productive taken out of the 4th and 5th rounds.
All I'm saying, is I can't even imagine a duo of Austin and Marshall, complimented by people like Ogletree and Hurd (yes, Crayton can leave). They're both young and could become one of the longtime dominant WR duos in the league. As a matter of fact, they would.
