1. Let Murray, Free and Parnell go (keep Dez).

2. Dedicate the early part of the draft to offense. RT in 1st round, RB like Duke Johnson in 2nd.

3. Resign all our LBers so we don't have to worry about that.

4. Dedicate the rest of our free agency money to improving the D-line and secondary.

My logic: We have enough very good players on offense that some rookies could come in and immediately have success. But our defense is so limited that we can't depend on rookies to immediately come in and make big contributions. So we address the defense via veteran free agents. We already have a lot of good LBers (only two under contract though). But we need to bring in some vets who will be immediate contributers, particularly on the D-line. And, of course, we can spend picks 3-7 on depth for the defense (but I wouldn't expect much from them this season).

That's a big fat NO!

The Cowboys #1 priority in 2015 is to keep Romo healthy. Free and Parnell have proven to be reasonably good NFL RTs.

One of them will likely cost around 3M per season. Is it worth risking Romo's healthy to save 3M? No!

Also, going into a draft with a must have is a bad bad idea. That's how you end up with big reaches and bad drafts.

It would be much better to depend on a rookie LB than a rookie RT, especially at the very end of the 1st round.

lol. Either Gurley or Gordon will be there in 1st, or some good DL. Boys' will got that route before OT.

You let Free and Parnell go, don't sign a replacement in free agency and then there's a huge run at tackles in the middle of the 1st round...Then what?

Tell Romo "our bad?"

There will be a big run on tackles. Happens every draft.
