BTW....didn't Zimm say he needed some big NTs during training camp? If I remember he had a couple of huge DTs with the Vikes both with the last name Williams ( maybe I'm wrong ).

......of course Kellen is going to accept Jerry's coaching assignments. He's been my pick for some time as the next HC.....mainly because he is not going to be requiring control or decision making on players. Wait and see. And if KMoore starts making demands, Jerry will remind him how he landed in coaching.

The Defense is getting better. For some reason people simplify things and act like Quinn and Zimmer are miles apart. People quickly forget how Quinn’s D looked when

1) the offense couldn’t get a two score lead
2) played against teams COMMITTED to running the ball.

They looked just as bad.

TODAY , the offense is mediocre AT BEST. Teams are not threatened to get into a shootout so they can run the ball with impunity. Add to that Zim has been gifted with an undersized DE in parsons, mediocre DT in OSA , statistically the worst NT in football in Mazi. DLaw is out, Sam Williams is out, and Fowler+Armstrong left in free agency.

So the defense looking the way they do is a tribute to Zim considering Quinn’s defense with a better situation and better players folded.
