Not that Hoyer is anyone to be excited about about but he'd be a pretty solid backup with starter experience . Throw the Texans a 6th and 7th for him and get it done Jerruh. Makes a lot of sense for both us and Hoyer and his $4M cap hit is actually pretty reasonable for what all of these other backup QB's are getting.

They like Kellen Moore and if we don't take a qb at #4, pretty sure we get one later rounds.

If we don't make me happy and draft Goff or Wentz at #4, just go ahead and say hello to Dak Prescott in the 3rd.

I wouldn't be against Hoyer. The guy has something to him. He reminds me of Jeff Garcia. If Romo goes down for an extended period of time our goose is cooked anyway. Hoyer can win you some games.....(yikes..I remember thinking the same about Cassell)..

Them liking Kellen Moore tells you all you need to know about their talent evaluation. He has zero arm strength. He isn't playing the WAC or Mt West anymore.

Pennington had no arm strength either and he carved a nice career out for himself.

Moore has other attributes that give him a shot. Probably a long shot. I just don't want any part of Hoyer.

Absolutely not, this guy cant stay healthy and he makes some of the bone headed and killer mistakes i have ever seen by a QB.

Would rather have him over Matt Moore! Heard on the radio today tha Moore has taken an NFL snap since 2011!!! It could be worse than last years slew of QB's.

Hoyer is decent but I don't see the point. Call me crazy but I'll roll with Kellen Moore and what ever rookie we draft. If I'm going to lose, I would rather do it with some upside than a washout. Granted, I can see having a veteran guy in here if he has to play one game and thats the difference and a must win game. So if they do, so be it.
