Bennett just said it on Ben & Skin. Huff is working out with Bennett, Barber and some of the other players. He also said they gave him Cowboy workout clothes and everything :laugh2:

Would dance a jig. Huff is lightyears ahead of Ball, Hamlin, etc.

I'm just worried that he's the type of guy to mail it in after he gets paid.

He's already said that openly in news reports.

I've kinda been thinking as if this were a done deal already.

Sounds to me like it is. Which would be great, cause then we can wipe FS from the draft needs. Maybe now we don't have to reach for one in this putrid safety class.

Hey Jerry has been saying we need consistency :)

Huff would be a great add. With him wanting to be here he will take a home town discount I'm sure. Might not be cheao but would atleast be cheaper. Now just go get Daniel Mannign to start working out with them.

I would be happy with a Huff signing, I am tired of the crappy FS play, I do think Huff will continue to play well.

The real question is: who plays strong safety?
Daniel Manning, from Dallas area; Abram Elam or Brodney Pool both played in Ryan 3-4 defense.

I'm not so sure about lightyears. But he won't be any worse I don't think.

Would not be happy with this. I'd rather have Sensabaugh.

Here's another gem from Martellus:

espn_macmahon Tim MacMahon
Whoa, @Martellus80 on @benandskin -- "I hope there's a chance for a quarterback competition this season." Says he loves playing w/ Jon Kitna

Not a fan of Sensy ever since that Minny game. I can't respect him anymore.

Though to his credit, he improved ALOT after Wade left

Just waiting on the CBA or the Raiders to release him.

And
Here
We
Go!

I hope he is dissappointed. I think this is a case where we were so bad that anything will look like an upgrade. It probably is but to what degree is the question. Afterall Huff only has one good year and he was already in Ryans doghouse in the past.

Which season was his one good year?
