Huge 3 game stretch through Thanksgiving… As Parcells would say— you know what you are by Thanksgiving.

Packers
Vikes
Giants

If this team’s record is 9-2, or 8-3 after Turkey Day… they should be viewed as a legit contender in the NFC.

Following this offseason— and considering the injuries to Dak and Tyron— to even have a SHOT at 9-2 is well above expectation IMO.

Should they get to 9-2, even should they once again win the division, the true benchmark for success will— and should always be— postseason success.

That said— teams that can run the ball and play defense have done very well in the playoffs over the history of the NFL.

These next 3 games will tell us a LOT about the character, ceiling, and quality of this year’s version of the Dallas Cowboys.

Here’s to a great ride fellow fans— may your beers be cold, and the tears of our opponents be sweet

We need to win 2 of the next 3….if we lose 2 or more then something has gone wrong…if we win all 3 then we are a top nfc contender

I would be so happy to see an elusive thanksgiving day win too

I agree. We've got to have 2 wins. We should win this Sunday but there's something about Rodgers having our number. Yes, they are trash this year but what's our record over the last ten years of games after the bye? I am a little worried about Sunday but we should be able to take care of Minny and the Giants.

I agree. This is the crucial time of the year for us. Set up by the surprisingly good results in the first 8 games, these three games now decide where we're heading.

Can't wait! 8-3 is also my expectation but we have the talent and coaching now to beat all three (Giants again).

They will be legit contenders when they prove they can win in the tournament.

I have seen this many times over the past almost 30 years. As recently as last season they were hailed as "legit contenders".

They are pretenders until they prove they can win when it matters.

GB.....They're toast
Vi queens....cousins can't survive our pressure.
G ants .....Quinn has seen their offense and will destroy.
This is based on Dak moving out of the pocket often and Quinn not bailing out.

It’s somewhat ironic that before the season started the first half of the schedule looked to be the most difficult. Now the 2nd half stretch appears to be the tougher stretch of games. If they can beat the Vikings and Titans on the road then we might have something here.

This is a 3 game stretch that most cowboys teams typically go 1-2 during…too much hype and they just can’t hold up to good teams….

I hope we see this years team to be vastly different because of the defense

I think these 3 upcoming games are big, 1st one get the monkey off our back and take down the Packers. 2 take down the NFC North leader who is 7-1 and then big matchup with NFC East Giants team who we are tied with. I think NY game is the biggest of the 3 become of the implication in the division. If Dallas is 9-2 or 8-3 at the end it puts this team in very good position to make the post season. Once you can get to post season again it is a 1 game deal you win you move on you lose and the season is over. Need to hit post season playing our best ball. For now my focus is on getting to the post season.

You are what your record says you are.

You should know who you are by Thanksgiving.

Let's not get the anointing all out just yet.

I am trying to not go totally stupid here, and I am probably jinxing it, but going 3-0 seems very possible.

The Packers are a shell of themselves and are woeful on offense. The Vikes are 7-1, credit to them, but they've squeaked by most of their games and got turf driven in Philly. And I just still can't buy the Giants.

But then again, this is the Cowboys and I have followed them long enough to know to expect disappointment.

I agree, and I’ve also always agreed with Parcells in that you know how good you are after Thanksgiving.

Good 3 game stretch against 2 playoff teams so anxious to see how it shakes out.

Honestly think NY is the toughest matchup due to how well they run the ball and play D.

GB thought they knew who they were last season with the bye, they were knocked out 1st game just like Dallas was. Parcells had a lot of saying but frankly that is all they are is sayings. Post season has a way of changing who you though someone was. I don't think anyone felt Cinn would walk out of Post season last year with a trip to the SB, in a conference that had KC, Buff, Tenn

This is a fair statement and very true. Hopefully, they won't commit record breaking penalties again when they reach the tournament then we'll be able to compete against anybody.

The toughest game is the Packers because it’s next on the schedule.

I'm on the very same page here, it counts in January. But still, as far as the regular season goes, these next three games will be a kind of preliminary decision about how we're heading into the play offs.

Funnily enough, GB scares me the most.

Dak always plays well against the NFCE and Cousins won't do well against our defense.

Me too. You never know with AR on the other side. We can handle Minny.
