Huge News On Da'Quan Bowers

I was never being questioned, (i)I was upset at the pure lack of respect and rudeness is which my post was addressed(ii)I argued the comparison that a player being injured is the same as a player being removed from a draft board because of the injury. We cant assume all injured players=being removed from teams draft board.

To address your question, you can't know I'm legit, I gave up that battle a long time ago (although I'll admit I'm finding it harder to care enough to share publically at all with each one of these threads that develop). My track record with those who don't have an agenda or a general belief that the only truth you hear has to come from a national outlet speaks for itself.

Also, it's not uncommon at all for information like this to be released, you will hear more of it in the coming months. Finally, you have to consider a 1000 ways to get information. Take this as you will but how hard would it be for a private doctor hired but a scouting agency that does work for NFL teams to find out this information?

Sometimes you need to think outside the box when considering the source of information.

Some people are just rude and like to be jerks. Just ignore them and don't get pulled into useless internet message board fights and keep providing info to the rest of us who appreciate your information.

I appreciate the info... put them on ignore. Life is too short to deal with people who go out of there way to put you down or question your information to no point on an internet msg board where we all root for the same time.

Ok, lets simplify this.

I want a link stating he was REMOVED FROM A TEAMS DRAFT BOARD.

We know he was hurt. We know his health was being questioned. That's a big leap to being removed from a teams draft board

Good god!

Don't want to get involved in your spat with the other poster. I'm not disputing anything you've been told or have said.

But to be fair, you received your info from an inside source, correct?

That means that info isn't or hasn't been made available for public consumptiion.

Yet, you're asking this other poster to provide a link from an official outlet that would satisfy your request?

Besides, teams don't normally make it a habit to send press releases anouncing who they've taken off of their draft boards. It's not in good form to send a kid's stock plummeting. NFL teams have their own physicians and are aware of all the player's issues, be it physical, mental or the courtroom and make their own respective decisions on a player.

All i said was was that really anything new? It was reported basically that he might have been more injured then what was bein releasedall the way back at the combine. Then came Pft and then a week ago pft with another story about his agent saying whats being reported about his injury isnt true. Then the report coming out about him not participating at his proday but will hold a private workout on his own later on.

Dude all i meant was it was no secret his stock was taking a hit. If you take that as a lack of respect and rudeness then idk what to tell you. Youre the one who came at me in your post. If you think people here are attacking u or not showing you the respect you think u deserve then whats really the deal? I was making a comment on Bowers not about you or your ego.

huge difference between teams being concerned and dropping them from their draft board, which means they will not even use a 7th rd pick on a guy that was a consensus top 10 if not top 5 pick. That is BIG news no matter what some expert claims.

I just spoke to someone with in depth knowledge of the current speculation that Da'Quan Bowers and his agent have down played the significance of his injury.

I was told, as is the norm all teams were given access to MRI results on his knee at the Combine and based on that information alone 8 team have medically red flagged Bowers, in essence, removing him from their draft board.

In addition I'm told several other teams have requested additional information so they can look at the situation closer with their own team doctors.

This latest information coupled with his inability to work out and rising concern among 3-4 teams about his ability to play with in the scheme could very well cause a draft day slide of epic scale.

I was hoping he would definitely go top 8 to push another player down to us.

If we can't engineer a trade down we will probably have to go with T Smith, Watt, Prince, or Jordan, imo.

I agree, there is a big difference and who knows if one of those 8 teams are the Cowboys. Thanks for sharing SDogo, there is a big difference when teams are totally dropping him off their boards. Could affect our pick alot, as if he does drop, do we pick him or leave him there. At some point, his talent will be worth the risk.

This thread is funny to me though, why talk about the source so much, instead of the info presented. There are things that aren't put in the paper, and just cause you don't have a link to some media outlet doesn't always mean its not legit. How a team feels about a certain player won't be in the paper, so this is big news.

Yeah this draft is starting to scare me a lil. The number of elite talents, that are good from day one, seem to be getting less and less. We seemed in past years to see alot of risers......this year all we are hearing about are fallers.

Like I said, forget it man. I do respect you and I did not want to drag this out.

.

That's my whole point in a nutshell. I was being told this was already known, it's not news. Thus my request for proof.

Again, let's forget it. Like Latin you know I respect what you do and your opinion. You probably more then most provide some great draft analysis. I really dont want this thread turning into more then it needs to be.

This doesn't help us at all. If he falls, it pushes other people ahead of us. He's not a fit for a 3-4 so it does nothing for him to fall to #9.

Lots of misinformation spreads near draft time, but there's some truth to this one. Knee problems and the degenerative issues that come with them are a huge flag.

Ask a guy like Brandon Roy about that.

I think most of the issue some will take with your post is that the thread title is attention-grabbing/attention-seeking.

If you go big, the haters will go big. If you had simply said you learned some more info on Bower's injury, I don't see how that would have brought the same response from those that showed up to rain on your parade.

You've since spent the majority of your time in this thread defending how inside your information is, instead of responding to actual legit responses, so that won't help.

Well then I missed something, please post what you would like to see a response to and I'll be glad to do it.

Yes the title is attention grabbing, I would say Bowers being removed from a teams draft board is attention worthy. Maybe I'm mistaken. Maybe the possibility one of those teams is us or picks before us is not that important or only important to me.

not the same, he was a physician employed by the insurance company that covers the NFL and who's sole job is to prevent any legal liability in case of injury. Let is also be noted that Bowers had no intention of working out at the Combine, this was just convenient for him and his agent.

These are team doctors who have red flagged a player which has caused the team they work for to remove him from their draft boards.

Nor is it the same as aliens doing a probe of his privates. But, really, why makes the the SDogo forum?

Gotcha.

It is a bummer for us (Cowboys) because obviously if Bowers drops off a lot of the Top 8's boards it pushes a player up ahead of us instead of pushing down towards us.

I heard he was ok, but that there was just an equipment malfunction.

It's funny people still bring that up and yet still don't know the whole story although Lee himself commented on it.

It's easy to just take it out of context if your looking to start something.

It really had nothing to do with this thread but thanks for input regardless.
